Is the spray paint safe for participants with sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, low-odour spray paint specifically designed for professional use. For our special needs sessions in Daugavpils, we provide top-tier protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our artists are trained to maintain a safe perimeter and manage the equipment carefully, ensuring that everyone stays clean and safe while they focus on the artistic fun.

Can the workshop come to our specific location in Daugavpils?

We are incredibly flexible. Our Daugavpils workshops can be held at our designated street art spots, or we can bring the entire setup to your facility, school, or community centre. As long as there is adequate ventilation and a space we can protect with tarps, we can transform almost any indoor or outdoor area into a temporary graffiti studio for your group.

Do participants need any prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our special needs program is designed for all ability levels. Whether someone is a natural-born artist or has never held a spray can before, our mentors provide step-by-step guidance. We focus on the process of expression and the joy of creation rather than technical perfection. Everyone leaves with a sense of pride in what they have achieved.

How long does a typical special needs graffiti session last?

We typically recommend 1.5 to 2 hours for our special needs sessions. This timeframe is long enough to get deeply involved in the art but short enough to maintain high engagement and energy levels. However, we are happy to adjust the pace and duration based on the specific needs, concentration levels, and stamina of your particular group.

Are the workshop locations wheelchair accessible?

Accessibility is a top priority for us. When selecting locations in Daugavpils, we ensure they are wheelchair accessible and have appropriate facilities. If we are coming to you, we will work with your staff to ensure the setup allows for easy movement and comfortable reach for all participants, regardless of mobility aids. Everyone gets to be right in front of the canvas!

How many staff members do you provide for the session?

We keep our ratios low to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve. For special needs groups, we usually suggest a ratio of one artist to every 5-8 participants. This allows our mentors to provide individualised support, help with can pressure, and offer encouraging feedback throughout the creative process. We also love it when local caregivers join in the fun!

What happens if the group has very specific behavioural needs?

We operate with a 'fun first' philosophy. If for any reason the workshop doesn't meet your expectations, we will work tirelessly to make it right. Our goal is 100% satisfaction. Plus, with our 'pay after' policy, you can book with total confidence knowing that we are committed to delivering a stellar, inclusive experience for your group in Daugavpils.

Step by step

Initial chat: Reach out to us to discuss the specific needs and interests of your group so we can tailor the session.
Design the theme: We've found that having a loose theme or a 'hero' image helps spark creativity and confidence.
Safety briefing: We start with a gentle, clear introduction to the tools, focusing on how to hold and press the spray cans.
Practice strokes: Participants start on a practice board to get a feel for the pressure and the way the paint flows.
Creation phase: Under the guidance of our artists, the group begins building their masterpiece on the main canvas or wall.
Details and 'Zests': We help add those final pops of colour and outlines that make the artwork really stand out and shine.
Group photo: We capture the proud moment with a professional photo of the artists and their brand-new street art.
Clean up: We handle all the heavy lifting and clearing up, leaving you only with the artwork and the memories.

Local culture

Daugavpils is a city with a heart as big as its Fortress! Known for its incredible history and the world-renowned Rothko Museum, this city understands the power of visual art better than most. Our workshops tap into that Daugavpils spirit of resilience and creativity. We love working near the Daugava river, where the light is just right for picking out those vibrant spray-paint hues. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Daugavpils was once a major centre for the railway industry? Just like a train moving forward, our workshops are all about momentum and the journey of self-discovery!

In addition to Daugavpils, we also offer our inclusive programs in Riga, Liepaja, Jelgava, and Jurmala.
