How long does a typical kids' graffiti party last?

Most kids' parties in Daugavpils last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of time to learn the basic spray painting techniques, practice their 'tags', and then complete a final masterpiece. We find this timeframe keeps energy levels high and focus sharp, ensuring every child goes home with a smile and a finished artwork they are proud of.

Is spray painting safe for children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our professional artists are trained to supervise children closely, and we use low-pressure spray cans that are easier for smaller hands to control. We've hosted hundreds of safe, successful workshops across Latvia, so you can relax while they create!

What is the recommended age for a graffiti workshop?

We recommend a minimum age of 6 or 7 years old. At this age, children usually have enough hand strength to press the spray caps and the ability to follow safety instructions. If you have a younger group, just let us know! We can often adapt the workshop with bigger caps or different creative activities to make sure no one is left out of the fun.

Where in Daugavpils do the workshops take place?

The best part is that we come to you! We can host the party at your backyard, a local park (with permission), or a rented community space in Daugavpils. If you don't have a spot, we can suggest some great outdoor areas or indoor halls where we can set up our mobile plastic 'graffiti walls' to protect the surroundings. We are very flexible with locations!

Do the children need to have any drawing skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our friendly professional artists guide the kids through every step, from drawing their first lines to adding cool 3D effects and highlights. It is amazing to see how quickly kids pick up the skills. Every child will be able to create something awesome, regardless of their previous artistic experience.

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

We always have a Plan B! If the weather in Daugavpils isn't playing ball, we can move the party to an indoor location like a garage, a community centre, or a sports hall. We use protective plastic sheeting to ensure the venue stays spotless. We also have backup artists available, so we never have to cancel your special day due to artist illness.

Unleash pure creativity: No right or wrong answers here—just pure, colourful self-expression! 🌈

Zero stress for parents: We bring all the supplies and handle the setup and cleanup. You just enjoy the smiles!
Take-home art: Every child creates something unique they can proudly display in their bedroom. 🏆
Ultimate bragging rights: Your child will officially have hosted the coolest party of the year. ✨
Available everywhere: We host parties in Daugavpils, but also in Riga, Liepaja, and Jurmala.

Step by step

The grand arrival: Our professional graffiti artist arrives at your Daugavpils location with all the gear, setting up the 'blank canvas' walls and laying out the rainbow of spray cans.
Safety first: Every mini-artist gets geared up in protective overalls, gloves, and a mask. We explain the 'golden rules' of using spray cans safely and respectfully.
Learning the basics: We start with a fun demonstration. The kids learn how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to make different lines and shapes.
Tagging practice: Every kid gets to design their own 'street name' or tag. They practice their signature on a practice wall to get a feel for the flow of the paint.
Masterpiece sketching: Now for the big one! The kids sketch out their main design. This could be their name in big bubble letters or a collaborative group mural.
Filling in the colours: The fun gets intense as they fill in their designs with their favourite colours, learning how to blend and fade like a pro.
The final outlines: Our pro artist helps the kids add those sharp outlines and 'shines' that make the artwork pop off the wall.
Photo op & gallery: We finish with a 'grand reveal' and a group photo session so you have the perfect memories of their street art debut.
Easy cleanup: We pack up everything, leaving your Daugavpils venue exactly as we found it, except for the awesome new skills the kids have learned!

Local culture

Daugavpils is a city with a rich artistic soul, from the world-renowned Mark Rothko Art Centre to the gritty, historic charm of the Daugavpils Fortress. Our workshops tap into this local creative spirit, giving kids a chance to contribute to the city's modern cultural vibe. We love bringing street art to the neighbourhoods of 'Pilsēta', ensuring the next generation of Daugavpils creators gets a head start.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Daugavpils is the second-largest city in Latvia? That means there is twice as much room for creativity and twice as many young artists waiting to unleash their inner Banksy! 🇱🇻
