Is the spray paint safe for people with sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality spray paint that is low-odour where possible and provide full protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Safety is our number one priority in Szombathely. Our instructors are trained to manage the equipment safely, ensuring that every participant can focus entirely on the joy of creating art without any risks to their health or wellbeing.

How do you adapt the workshop for different abilities?

Our graffiti workshops are highly flexible. We can adjust the duration, the physical height of the "canvas" (using lower boards for wheelchairs), and the complexity of the techniques taught. We focus on sensory play and tactile experiences for those who might find traditional painting challenging. Before we start in Szombathely, we chat with you to understand the specific needs of your group to ensure a perfect fit.

Do participants need any previous art experience?

Not at all! Our Special Needs Program is designed for everyone, regardless of their artistic background. We use stencils, tape, and guided strokes to help participants build confidence. Our artists are patient and encouraging, focusing on the therapeutic process of applying colour rather than achieving a "perfect" technical result. It's all about the experience and the fun of self-expression.

How long does a typical session last?

We recommend a session length of 1.5 to 2 hours for our special needs groups. This provides enough time to learn the basics and complete a project without causing overstimulation or fatigue. We include plenty of breaks and keep the energy levels balanced. However, if your group in Szombathely requires a shorter or longer session, we are happy to accommodate that.

What materials are included in the package?

We provide everything! This includes all professional spray paint cans, nozzles, protective clothing (suits, masks, gloves), and the surfaces we paint on. We can even bring portable boards if a suitable wall isn't available. You just need to bring your enthusiasm! We handle the setup and the cleanup, making it a stress-free experience for the organisers and caregivers.

What is your cancellation and backup policy?

At Graffitifun, we understand that plans can change. We don't require upfront payments for our workshops in Szombathely; you pay after the session is complete. Additionally, we have a network of backup artists available. This means that even if an instructor falls ill, we can almost always find a replacement to ensure your event goes ahead as planned.

Local culture

Szombathely, one of the oldest cities in Hungary, is a place where Roman history meets modern urban life. While the city is famous for its Savaria heritage, the local street art scene adds a fresh, contemporary layer to its storied streets. Our workshops bring a touch of this modern urban energy to the community, offering a unique bridge between the city's historical roots and modern creative expression. From the bustling corners near the Fő tér to the quieter residential areas, art is everywhere in Szombathely!

Fun Fact: Did you know Szombathely was originally known as Savaria and was a major city in the Roman Empire? Today, it’s building a new legacy through community-driven art projects that bring people of all abilities together! 🏛️✨
