Is the workshop safe for teenagers and young children?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are professionals who start every session with a comprehensive safety briefing. We use low-odour professional spray paint, and whenever possible, we work in well-ventilated outdoor spaces or authorised legal walls across Strasbourg to ensure a secure environment for all participants.

Do the participants need any prior art experience?

Absolutely! While we love working with youth who already have a creative spark, no prior drawing or painting experience is needed. Our artists are expert teachers who break down the process into easy, manageable steps. We focus on building confidence and showing everyone that they have an inner artist. By the end of the session, even the most hesitant beginners are usually amazed by what they've created.

What should the group wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing 'old' clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little paint on. While we provide full protective gear—including suits and gloves—spray paint is incredibly fine and can sometimes find its way onto sleeves or shoes. It's best to leave the designer gear at home for the day so you can focus entirely on your masterpiece without worrying about a stray splash of colour!

How long does a typical youth graffiti session last?

A standard youth project workshop typically lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. This allows enough time for the intro, safety briefing, practice session, and the creation of a final large-scale piece. However, we are flexible! If you have a specific schedule to stick to or want a more intensive half-day project, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your group's needs and goals.

Can you bring the workshop to our specific youth centre?

Yes, we are fully mobile! While we have fantastic locations we use in Strasbourg, we can also bring the workshop to your youth centre, school, or community space. We use mobile "graffiti walls" (specialised plastic stretching) or large canvases to ensure we don't leave any permanent marks where they aren't wanted. As long as there is enough space and ventilation, we can set up almost anywhere.

How much does a youth project workshop cost?

Our pricing is transparent and typically ranges from €30 to €65 per person. The final cost depends on the group size, the duration of the workshop, and whether we are bringing the party to you or using one of our sites. This price includes all materials, gear, and professional instruction. We don't require upfront payments—you only pay after the experience is complete! Contact us for a custom quote.

What materials are included in the booking?

We provide everything! Your booking includes professional spray cans in a huge range of colours, protective masks, gloves, overalls, and the surfaces to paint on (whether that's a legal wall, canvas, or mobile foil). You don't need to bring a thing except your energy and creativity. We even handle the setup and the cleanup afterwards, making it a completely stress-free experience for the organisers.

The experience

Why choose our graffiti workshops for your youth project in Strasbourg? It's more than just painting; it's about empowerment! 🔥

Boost Confidence: Seeing a giant piece of art come to life from their own hands gives young people a massive sense of pride. 🏆
Professional Mentorship: Our artists aren't just talented; they are great role models who share their journey and passion.
Teamwork in Action: Large-scale murals require communication and cooperation—skills that last a lifetime.
Safe Expression: We provide a legal, controlled outlet for urban expression, teaching the difference between art and vandalism.
Zero Hassle: We bring everything! You don't need to worry about supplies, safety gear, or the cleanup.
Pay Later Policy: Our 100% satisfaction focus means you pay only after the fun is done.

Step by step

Intro & Inspiration: We start with a high-energy kick-off, looking at the history of street art and exploring different styles to get the creative juices flowing.
Safety First: Everyone gets geared up in protective suits, gloves, and masks. We go over the do's and don'ts of using spray cans safely and respectfully.
Can Control 101: Our pro artists demonstrate the basics—how to hold the can, adjust pressure, and create different line widths and effects.
Sketching the Vision: Participants grab markers or chalk to sketch their ideas onto the wall or canvas, planning out their tags or characters.
The First Layer: It's time to paint! We start filling in the 'fills' (the base colours) of the designs, learning how to blend colours smoothly.
Outline & Detail: This is where the magic happens. We add sharp outlines, 3D effects, and "highlights" to make the artwork pop off the surface.
Collaborative Finale: The group works together to add background elements like "bubbles" or "splatters" to connect all the individual pieces into one massive mural.
The Big Reveal & Photos: We step back to admire the work, take epic group photos, and discuss what everyone learned during the process.
Clean-up & Wrap-up: We handle the mess while your group heads off with a massive sense of achievement and perhaps a canvas to take home!

Local culture

Strasbourg is a city where history meets a thriving modern underground. While it’s famous for its timber-framed houses and the breathtaking Cathedral, the city’s street art scene is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Areas like "La Laiterie" and the walls around the Gare area showcase the incredible talent of local French artists, making it the perfect backdrop for a youth project. The Strasbourgeois culture values creativity and community, which is exactly what our workshops are all about.

Fun Fact: Did you know Strasbourg is home to one of the most famous legal graffiti spots in the region? The "NL" (Nouvelle Ligne) scene has been pushing urban sports and street art culture here for years, ensuring that graffiti is seen as a respected form of artistic expression in the city! 🎨

Pricing

Our youth project workshops in Strasbourg are designed to be accessible and high-impact. Pricing typically ranges from €30 to €65 per person, depending on your group size, the length of the project, and any specific custom requirements (like painting a permanent mural). ✨

Because every youth group has different goals and budgets, we don't believe in "one size fits all" pricing. We offer flexible packages and the best part? No upfront payment is required—you only pay once the workshop is successfully completed and everyone is happy!
