Frequently asked questions

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely no artistic experience is required! Our professional artists specialize in teaching beginners. We start with the absolute basics, from how to hold the spray can to maîtrising pressure control. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It’s all about having fun, experimenting with colours, and expressing your unique personality through urban art. Everyone leaves with a sense of achievement and a cool new skill!

Is the workshop safe for university students?

We take safety seriously. All participants are provided with high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paints and conduct our sessions in well-ventilated areas. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring everyone knows how to handle the equipment properly. You can focus entirely on your creativity while we look after the technical safety details.

How long does a typical university session last?

Our university workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe is perfect for a deep dive into graffiti culture, learning the core techniques, and completing a full-scale project. We can easily adapt the duration to fit into a lecture break, a full afternoon of society activities, or a multi-day campus festival. Just let us know your schedule, and we will tailor the timing to suit your group's needs.

Can you host the workshop directly on our campus?

Flexibility is our middle name! We can bring the workshop to your campus if you have a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area. Alternatively, we can help arrange a local spot in Takoradi for your group. We provide all the mobile equipment, boards, and materials, so we can essentially turn any open space into a temporary street art studio. We'll handle the logistics; you just bring the energy!

What should we wear and bring to the event?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dusty, even though we provide protective overalls and gloves. Standard trainers are best for balance while painting. Since we sessions are often held outdoors to enjoy the Takoradi breeze, don't forget your sun kit or a light jacket if it’s later in the day. We provide everything else, including premium spray cans, caps, and safety masks.

What happens if an artist is unable to make it?

Graffitifun is built on reliability. We have a solid team of backup artists in Ghana to ensure that your event goes ahead even if an emergency arises. Unlike individual freelancers, our agency structure means you have a 100% guarantee that we’ll show up and deliver a high-energy, professional experience. Your peace of mind is our priority, so you can book your university event with complete confidence.

How do we book and what are the costs?

Booking is simple! Since every university group is different, we don't have a 'one size fits all' price. The cost depends on your group size, the duration, and the specific setup you want. Click any of our 'Request a Quote' buttons, fill in your details, and we’ll get back to you with a transparent, no-obligation estimate. Best of all, you don't need to pay anything upfront – payment is settled after the fun is done!
