What is the minimum age for a graffiti birthday party in Winterthur?

The ideal age for our Winterthur graffiti birthday parties is 6 years and older. For the younger creators (ages 6-9), we use special low-pressure cans that are easier for smaller hands to handle. Our professional artists adjust their teaching style to match the age group, ensuring everyone from primary schoolers to teenagers has a blast while staying completely safe throughout the creative process. Everyone walks away with a masterpiece!

Do the kids need any prior drawing or painting experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with a safety briefing and basic spraying techniques before moving on to the creative part. Our artist guides the kids step-by-step, helping them turn their initial sketches into vibrant wall art. It's all about having fun, experimenting with colours, and discovering a new way to express themselves in a supportive environment.

Is the spray paint safe for children to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep clothes clean. We also use professional-grade spray paint that meets safety standards. Our artists are trained to supervise the group closely, ensuring that the cans are used correctly and that the workshop takes place in a well-ventilated area or outdoor spot.

How long does a typical graffiti birthday workshop last?

We generally recommend a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for kids' parties. This gives the children enough time to learn the basics, practice their 'tag', and complete a final collaborative mural or individual canvases without losing focus. If you have a larger group or want a more in-depth artistic session, we can extend the workshop to 3 hours upon request.

Where in Winterthur do the workshops take place?

Winterthur has some great legal spots, but we can also bring the party to you! If you have a private backyard or a suitable garage space, we can set up our mobile plastic 'walls' or work on individual canvases. If you don't have a location, don't worry—we’ll help find a creative 'hall of fame' or a suitable local spot in Winterthur to host your event.

What happens if it rains or the artist is sick?

We have a 'never-cancel' policy! We work with a large network of professional backup artists, so if your primary instructor falls ill, we have a replacement ready to step in. For weather, we always suggest having a covered backup location or a rainy-day plan. Since you don't pay upfront, you have maximum flexibility and peace of mind when booking with us.

Can the children take their artwork home after the party?

Absolutely! While we often work on a large shared mural where the kids collaborate on a 'Happy Birthday' piece, we also offer the option for each child to paint their own individual canvas. This makes for the ultimate party bag—a custom piece of street art they can hang in their room immediately to remember the best birthday party ever!

Step by step

Send a request: Fill out our quick form with your preferred date and the number of young artists joining the party in Winterthur.
Get a custom plan: We’ll reach out to discuss the location—whether it's at a local Winterthur spot or your own backyard—and tailor the workshop to your child's interests.
Safety first: On the big day, our artist arrives and suits everyone up in protective gear, including overalls, masks, and gloves.
Master the basics: We start with a fun introduction to 'can control,' teaching the kids how to make thin lines, fat drips, and cool fades.
Sketch the design: The birthday boy or girl helps choose the theme, and we sketch out the 'masterpiece' outline together on the wall or canvas.
Add some colour: This is the best part! The kids grab their favorite colours and start filling in the design under expert guidance.
Final touches: Our artist helps with the sharp 'outlines' and 'highlights' to make the graffiti pop and look professional.
Photo op: We finish with a group photo session in front of the final artwork—the perfect memory of a creative Winterthur birthday!
