Can our guests participate in the live painting?

Absolutely! Our live painting sessions in Winterthur are designed to be as interactive as you like. While our professional artist handles the complex techniques, we love inviting guests to add their own strokes or 'tag' a corner of the canvas. It creates a fantastic sense of community and ensures your guests feel like they are part of the creative process rather than just spectators.

What surfaces can you paint on during the event?

We are very flexible! We can paint on large-scale canvases, custom-built wooden walls, or even objects like cars or furniture. The most popular choice for events is a high-quality canvas stretching across a wooden frame, which can be easily unmounted and moved to your office or venue after the paint has dried. We bring all the necessary materials to Winterthur ourselves.

What kind of art style can we expect?

Our team is highly skilled in various styles, from classic 'old school' graffiti and 3D lettering to modern street art illustration and abstract patterns. Before the event, we’ll discuss your vision, colour palette, and any specific branding or themes you want to include. We then create a concept that fits the vibe of your Winterthur gathering perfectly.

Is it messy or smelly to have live painting indoors?

Not at all. We take safety and cleanliness very seriously. We use low-odour professional spray paint and high-quality markers. Furthermore, we always set up a protective 'work zone' with floor coverings and screens to ensure no overspray reaches your venue's walls or floor. Whether indoors at a Winterthur gallery or outdoors at a festival, we leave the place exactly as we found it.

How long does a typical live painting performance last?

The timeline is entirely up to you. Most live painting performances in Winterthur last between 2 and 5 hours, paced to match the flow of your event. We can start as guests arrive and finish just as the main programme concludes, providing a complete 'before and after' transformation that keeps people coming back to check on the progress.

What are the booking terms and guarantees?

Booking is simple and stress-free with Graffitifun. You don't need to pay anything upfront; we operate on a 'pay after the workshop/event' basis to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the result. Plus, we have backup artists available, so even if an emergency happens, your event in Winterthur will always have a professional artist ready to perform.

Guest Interaction: If desired, we invite your guests to pick up a marker or can and contribute their own small detail under our guidance.
The Big Reveal: The final highlights and 'cut-backs' are applied, finishing the masterpiece just as your event reaches its peak.
Protective Coating: We apply a fixative to ensure the paint remains durable and vibrant for years to come.

Local culture

Winterthur isn't just Switzerland’s sixth-largest city; it’s a powerhouse of culture and a true 'City of Museums'. While the Kunstmuseum and Villa Flora celebrate the classics, the streets of Winti have their own urban heartbeat. From the industrial vibes of the Sulzerareal to the creative pockets near the ZHAW campus, street art is woven into the city's modern identity. By hosting a live graffiti performance here, you are tapping into Winterthur's legendary appreciation for the arts while adding a fresh, contemporary twist.
