Do participants need any previous art experience?

Not at all! Our professional artists guide your supporters through every step. We start with basic techniques, like how to hold the can and create clean lines, before moving on to the main fundraiser mural. Whether they are six or sixty, your guests will be amazed at what they can create. The focus is on fun and community, not fine-art perfection!

What materials do you provide for the charity event?

We take care of almost everything. We provide the spray paint, caps, masks, gloves, and protective suits. We also bring the mobile graffiti walls or canvases. All you need to provide is the location (which we can help find) and the enthusiastic crowd ready to raise some funds for your brilliant cause. It is a completely hassle-free solution for busy event organisers.

Is the spray paint safe and does it smell?

The spray paint we use is high-quality and dries very quickly, so there is no long wait time to see the results. For indoor charity events or venues with less ventilation, we can use water-based spray cans that have significantly less odour. We always ensure the environment is safe and comfortable for all your guests and volunteers.

Can we auction off the artwork created during the fundraiser?

Absolutely! We can design the workshop so that smaller canvases are created for a live auction later in the evening, or the entire main mural can be auctioned off to a generous donor. This is a fantastic way to double your impact—raising money through participation fees and then again through the sale of the finished street art.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor event?

We are experts at moving things indoors if the Lyon weather doesn't play ball. We use protective floor coverings and low-odour paints to ensure your venue stays clean. However, if you prefer the authentic outdoor vibe, we can help source covered locations or provide gazebos to keep the creative energy flowing regardless of a few raindrops.

How long does a typical graffiti charity session last?

Our charity workshops typically last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This timeframe is perfect for keeping energy levels high without exhausting your supporters. We can also run 'drop-in' style sessions across a whole afternoon if you are hosting a larger festival or community fair, allowing hundreds of people to add their personal touch to the fundraiser mural.

How does the payment process work for non-profits?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We do not require any upfront payment or deposits to secure your date. You simply pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. This takes the financial risk off your charity and makes the booking process completely stress-free for your finance team.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Lyon is a city that breathes art, from the historic Trompe-l'œil murals in the Croix-Rousse district to the cutting-edge street art found in the 7th arrondissement. By choosing a graffiti-themed fundraiser, you are tapping into the authentic urban culture that makes Lyon so unique. We love working near the slopes of the Croix-Rousse, where the creative energy is almost palpable! 🎨

Lyon Fun Fact: Did you know Lyon is home to "Le Mur des Canuts," one of the largest outdoor murals in Europe? It covers 1,200 square metres! While we might not paint quite that big for your fundraiser, we definitely share that same Lyonnais passion for massive, meaningful art.
