Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Our Lyon pop-up events are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering 'fades' and 'outlines'. You don't need any prior drawing skills to walk away with a piece of art you're proud of. It's all about having fun and expressing yourself in a relaxed environment.

Is the paint safe and do you provide protective gear?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paint in well-ventilated outdoor or large indoor spaces. Our instructors provide a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free creative session for everyone involved.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

For our pop-up events in Lyon, we recommend groups of at least 10 people to get the best atmosphere, but we can accommodate much larger crowds up to 200+ depending on the venue. If you have a smaller private group, get in touch and we will see how we can fit you into our schedule!

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard graffiti pop-up experience usually lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This includes the introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of your masterpiece. We can also adapt the timing for 'walk-by' festival styles where people participate for shorter bursts throughout the day.

Do I need to pay in advance?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'no-risk' booking policy for Lyon events. You don't have to pay anything upfront. You simply book your date, and payment is handled after the workshop is completed. We believe in our service so much that we want you to be 100% satisfied first!

What happens if it rains on the day?

While we love the sun, Lyon's weather doesn't always cooperate! If we are outdoors, we try to use covered areas or marquees. If the weather is truly terrible, we can often relocate to an indoor venue or reschedule. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event never gets cancelled due to staff illness.

What is included in the price?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes a wide variety of premium spray paint colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, canvases or boards to paint on, and all necessary protective equipment. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear comfortable shoes!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Lyon is a city that breathes art, from the historic murals of the Fresque des Lyonnais to the gritty, ever-changing graffiti tags lining the slopes of Croix-Rousse. The city’s street art culture is a beautiful mix of classical trompe-l'œil and modern rebellion, making it the perfect backdrop for a pop-up workshop. By choosing a graffiti experience here, you aren't just painting; you're joining a long tradition of Lyonnaise creative expression. ✨

Fun Fact: Lyon is home to some of the largest "trompe-l'œil" (fools the eye) murals in Europe. Some are over 1,200 square metres! While those took months, we’ll show you how to make an impact in just a few hours. 🎨

Pricing

Our Lyon pop-up events are competitively priced to ensure you get the best creative bang for your buck! Depending on your group size, location, and specific requirements, prices generally range between:

€30 - €65 per person

Because every event is unique—whether it's a small gathering in Vieux Lyon or a massive corporate bash—we recommend getting a tailored estimate. We don't require any upfront payment, so you can book with total peace of mind! 🎉
