Is the workshop environment safe for participants with sensory needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. Our artist-facilitators are trained to manage the environment carefully, ensuring everyone can enjoy the creative process without any risk. We also use low-odour professional spray paint whenever possible to keep the experience comfortable and accessible for those with sensory sensitivities to smells.

What should we wear to the workshop in Galway?

We recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little 'colourful.' Even though we provide full protective gear, including suits and gloves, graffiti is a messy business and stray paint can sometimes find its way onto sleeves or shoes. It’s all part of the fun of being a real street artist for the day!

Do participants need prior artistic skills?

No experience is needed at all! Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and encouraging for all skill levels. We focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection. Our friendly artists will guide you through simple techniques like 'filling' and 'fading' so that everyone can create something they are truly proud of, regardless of their artistic background.

What happens if it rains during our session?

Galway's weather is famously unpredictable! While we love working outdoors in the fresh Atlantic air, we always have 'Plan B' indoor options or sheltered locations available. We make sure the creative energy keeps flowing regardless of the rain, ensuring your special needs program goes ahead comfortably in a dry, well-ventilated space.

Can you bring the workshop to our specific location?

We are extremely flexible. We can host the workshop at various accessible locations across Galway, or if you have a suitable space at your own facility (with enough ventilation), we can come to you! We bring all the necessary protective flooring and equipment to ensure we leave your space exactly as we found it—except perhaps with more smiles!

How long does a typical session last?

Our typical sessions for special needs programs last between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining high engagement and energy without causing fatigue. However, we are happy to adjust the timing to suit the specific concentration levels and physical needs of your group. Just let us know what works best for you!

What is included in the price per person?

Our pricing is inclusive of everything you need! This includes all professional spray paint, canvases or boards, protective gear (masks, suits, gloves), and the expert guidance of our professional graffiti artists. There are no hidden fees. We provide a transparent quote upfront based on your group size so you know exactly what to expect.

Local culture

Galway is a city that breathes art, from the buskers on Shop Street to the murals tucked away in the Latin Quarter. It’s the perfect backdrop for an inclusive street art experience. We draw inspiration from the city's coastal energy and the legendary Macnas parades to fuel our creative sessions. Our workshops aim to bring that same "Galway Spirit"—inclusive, wild, and wonderfully colourful—to every participant.

Fun Fact: Did you know Galway was a European Capital of Culture? We keep that legacy alive by ensuring art stays accessible to everyone in the community, regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities! 🎨
