Is the street art workshop safe for people with physical disabilities?

Absolutely! At our Limerick workshop, we prioritise accessibility for all. We use lightweight cans for those with limited grip strength, provide masks and gloves, and offer seated spraying options. Our professional artists are trained to adapt their teaching style to meet the specific sensory and physical needs of every participant, ensuring everyone can enjoy the thrill of street art safely.

How do you handle sensory sensitivities during the workshop?

We understand that some environments can be overwhelming. To ensure a comfortable experience, we can adjust the music volume, choose quieter outdoor locations, and provide clear, step-by-step visual instructions. Participants are always welcome to take breaks in a quiet space if they need a moment. Our goal is to create a stress-free, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels empowered to create.

How long does the graffiti session last?

Our special needs graffiti workshops in Limerick typically last between 1.5 and 2 hours. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining engagement and energy without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible! If your group needs a shorter session or a more relaxed pace with more frequent breaks, we’ll tailor the schedule to suit you.

Do we need to bring our own supplies or safety gear?

You don't need to bring a thing! Graffitifun provides everything: high-quality spray paint, protective overalls, gloves, masks, and the canvases or surfaces we'll be painting on. For special needs groups, we also bring along extra-easy nozzles (caps) that require less finger pressure to use. Just wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on!

Can the workshop come to our specific location in Limerick?

A huge benefit of our service is flexibility. While we have great locations in Limerick, we can also bring the workshop to you! If your group feels more comfortable at a specific community centre, school, or residential facility, our mobile team can set up a professional, safe graffiti zone right on your doorstep, provided there is adequate outdoor space.

What is the cost for a private group session?

Our pricing is designed to be affordable and transparent, typically ranging from €30 to €60 per person. The final cost depends on the number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and any specific custom requirements your group might have. We don't require upfront payments, and we always provide a detailed, no-obligation quote before you book.

Design planning: Use our online Tag Creator or work with our artists to brainstorm a simple, high-impact design that everyone can help bring to life.
Safety briefing: When we meet in Limerick, we start with a friendly, easy-to-follow guide on using the equipment and staying safe.
Gear up: Everyone gets fitted with their protective suits, gloves, and masks—looking like professional artists from the start! 🎨
Can control practice: We’ll practice basic techniques like dots, lines, and fades on a practice surface to get used to the feel of the spray.
The main creation: Under the guidance of our pros, the group starts filling in the main design on the wall or canvas.
Adding the details: Our artists help with the 'finish work'—outlines and highlights—to make the artwork really pop.
Photos and celebration: We capture group photos with the finished masterpiece! A proud moment for every participant. 📸
Ownership: For canvas workshops, you get to keep the art to display at your centre or home as a permanent reminder of your achievement.

Local culture

Limerick has evolved into a real hub for Irish urban culture. From the striking murals of the 'Limerick City of Culture' legacy to the hidden gems along the banks of the Shannon, the city breathes creativity. We bring that same 'Treaty City' spirit to our workshops. We love taking inspiration from local landmarks like King John's Castle or the Munster Rugby passion to help our participants connect their art to their home. 🏰

Fun fact: Limerick is home to some of Ireland's most famous street art festivals, proving that big art belongs to everyone in this city!

Whether we're working in the heart of the city or at your local facility in suburbs like Dooradoyle or Castletroy, we make sure the Limerick energy is felt in every spray of the can.
