Do the participants need any prior art experience?

Absolutely! No prior painting or drawing experience is required for our youth projects. Our professional artists are experts at breaking down complex street art techniques into simple, manageable steps. We start with the basics of spray can control and safety before moving on to creative expression. Most participants are amazed at what they can produce in just a couple of hours. It is all about having fun and trying something new!

Is it safe for young people to use spray paint?

Safety is our absolute number one priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality masks/respirators, gloves, and disposable overalls to protect clothing. Our spray paints are selected for their quality and we always conduct our workshops in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our experienced instructors supervise every step of the process to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly and safely while having a blast.

Where in Oradea do these workshops take place?

We are totally flexible! We can host the workshop at a location of your choice in Oradea—whether that is a youth centre, a school playground, or a sports club—provided we have permission. Alternatively, we can help arrange a suitable outdoor spot or a dedicated studio space. We bring all the materials, including mobile wooden walls or canvases, so we can set up an 'instant gallery' almost anywhere.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

A standard youth project workshop typically lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction, a safety briefing, some practice time to get a feel for the spray cans, and then the final creation of the masterpiece. We can also adapt the timing for full-day youth programmes or multi-day intensive street art camps if you are looking for a deeper dive into the culture.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything! Your booking includes professional-grade spray paint in a wide rainbow of colours, protective masks and gloves, overalls, and the surfaces to paint on (like large canvases or boards). We also bring sketches, caps, and cleaning materials. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear some old shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on just in case!

What are the benefits of graffiti for youth groups?

Graffiti workshops are incredible for youth development! They encourage teamwork, boost self-esteem through creative achievement, and provide a safe outlet for self-expression. It is a fantastic way to engage young people who might not enjoy traditional sports or academic subjects. Plus, it teaches respect for public spaces by showing the difference between commissioned street art and illegal tagging. It is truly an empowering experience for any group.

Can we keep the artwork we create?

We offer several options! Depending on the setup, participants can create individual canvases to take home as a souvenir of their day. Alternatively, the group can work together on a large-scale mural or a series of panels that can be permanently displayed at your youth centre or school. We love seeing our students' work brighten up local Oradea communities long after the workshop has finished!

Step by step

Introduction & inspiration: We meet the group and dive into the fascinating world of street art history and the local Oradea scene.
Safety first: Every participant gets fitted with their protective gear (masks, gloves, suits) and learns the essential safety rules.
The tag creator: Before picking up a can, we sketch out ideas. Use our online Tag Creator tool beforehand to brainstorm your unique signature!
Can control basics: Our artists demonstrate different nozzle techniques, showing how to create thin lines, fat fills, and cool fades.
Practice run: Everyone gets a chance to 'spray their first lines' on a practice surface to build confidence and muscle memory.
The main event: Whether it's individual canvases or a giant group mural, the real painting begins as your vision comes to life.
The finishing touches: We teach you how to 'cut back' lines and add highlights or shadows to make the artwork really pop.
Gallery walk: We wrap up with a group photo and a 'show and tell' session where everyone celebrates their creative achievements.

Local culture

Oradea is known for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture, but beneath the grand facades, there is a pulse of modern creative energy. From the colourful hidden corners of the Cetatea Oradea to the emerging street art scene near the Crișul Repede river, the city is the perfect backdrop for a new generation of artists. We love bringing our workshops to Oradea because the city's blend of history and modernity perfectly mirrors the evolution of graffiti itself.

Fun fact: Did you know that Oradea is often called the "Art Nouveau Capital of Romania"? While the city celebrates its heritage, our workshops help local youth add a 21st-century spray-painted chapter to that artistic legacy! 🇷🇴 🖌️

If you are exploring other parts of Romania, we also run workshops in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, and Iasi.
