How long does a typical youth graffiti project last? balance?

Standard youth workshops in Rostov-on-Don usually run for about 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a crash course in spray techniques, and plenty of time for the group to complete their masterpiece. If you've got a massive mural project in mind, we can extend the session to a full day. We are totally flexible and work around your schedule to ensure the best creative flow!

Do the participants need previous art experience?

Not at all! Our professional street artists are experts at teaching absolute beginners. We start with the basics—how to hold the can, how to control pressure, and how to create clean lines. By the time we start the main project, everyone will feel like a pro. It’s all about building confidence and having a great time while learning a new skill.

Is the spray paint safe for young people to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for all participants. Our spray paints are selected for their safety standards, and our artists supervise every single spray to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly. We make sure the environment is well-ventilated and that everyone follows our easy-to-understand safety guidelines throughout the session.

Can we choose the theme or design for our mural?

Absolutely! One of the coolest things about our youth projects is that participants get to help design the artwork. We can incorporate specific themes, local Rostov-on-Don landmarks, or even a school’s values into the design. Our artists will take those ideas and help the group sketch them out on the wall or canvas before the painting begins. It’s a truly collaborative process!

Where do these workshops usually take place?

We can work almost anywhere! If you have a legal wall or a dedicated space at your youth club or school in Rostov, that’s perfect. If not, no worries—we can bring large mobile wooden canvases or plastic film walls to set up a temporary 'pop-up' studio in a car park or hall. We just need a bit of fresh air and some space to move!

How does the booking and payment process work?

We’ve made the booking process in Rostov-on-Don as stress-free as possible. You don't need to pay anything upfront! You only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% happy with the result. We also have backup artists on standby for every booking, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation. We keep it simple so you can focus on the fun!

What should the participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of 'artistic' character on! While we provide full protective suits and gloves, spray paint has a sneaky way of finding its way onto sleeves or trainers. Comfortable clothes are best so you can move around freely while painting your masterpiece. We’ll handle the rest of the supplies!

The experience

Our youth projects are designed to be the highlight of the year! We don't just teach people how to spray; we create an experience that empowers young people and brings communities together. Here is why our Rostov workshops are a cut above the rest:

🔥 Real Artists: Learn from pros who are active in the street art scene, not just art teachers.
🛡️ Safety Centric: We use top-tier protective gear and professional supervision for a 100% safe experience.
🤝 Team Focus: Our mural projects require communication and collaboration—perfect for building social skills.
✅ Zero Risk: No upfront payment is required, and we have backup artists ready to go so your event is never cancelled.
🏆 Sense of Pride: There is nothing like the feeling of seeing your massive artwork finished on a wall!

Step by step

The Big Idea: We start with a group brainstorm to decide on the theme and style of the project.
Safety First: Everyone gets geared up with masks, gloves, and overalls while we cover the essential safety rules.
Artist Demo: Our pro street artists show off the different nozzles (caps) and how they change the spray flow.
Practice Makes Perfect: Participants head to the 'practice zone' to get a feel for the spray cans and learn basic techniques.
Sketching the Mural: We outline the main design on the wall or canvas, giving the group a roadmap for their art.
Filling the Colours: This is the fun part! The youth team works together to fill in the vibrant colours and gradients.
Adding the Details: Our artists help with the tricky bits, like sharp outlines, highlights, and final 'pop' effects.
The Big Reveal: We step back, peel off any tape, and admire the collective masterpiece created by the group!

Good to know

Duration: Usually 1.5 to 3 hours, but we can do full-day mural projects if you're feeling ambitious!
Group Sizes: We cater to anything from small groups of 5 to large community events with 50+ participants.
Everything's Included: We provide premium spray paint, protective suits, gloves, masks, and the painting surface.
Safety Gear: High-grade FFP2 or FFP3 masks are provided to keep everyone breathing easy while they spray.
Weather Ready: We have indoor and outdoor solutions, so the Rostov weather won't stop the fun!

Local culture

Rostov-on-Don is a city with a fierce creative spirit and a rich history of public expression. From the bustling vibes of Pushkinskaya Street to the industrial charm of the Left Bank, the city provides the perfect backdrop for urban art. Our workshops tap into this local energy, encouraging youth to draw inspiration from the Don River and the city's unique southern soul. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Rostov-on-Don is often called the "Port of Five Seas"? We love seeing how young artists incorporate maritime and river themes into their street art projects here!

Pricing
