Is the graffiti workshop safe for all ages and participants?

Absolutely! We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothing pristine. We use professional-grade spray paint, and our artists guide everyone on proper technique to ensure a safe environment. Whether you are hosting your event in a Funchal community centre or an outdoor plaza, we ensure the area is protected and left spotless after the creativity is finished.

Where in Funchal does the workshop take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can host the charity event at your own venue in Funchal, a local park (with permits), or one of our partner creative spaces. If you're worried about the weather, we have indoor solutions using low-odour paints or large canvases. Just let us know your preferred location, and we will handle the logistical setup and prep work for you.

What happens to the graffiti art after the event?

The final artwork is yours to keep! Many charities choose to auction off the canvases created during the workshop to raise further funds. Alternatively, you can install the mural in a community space or keep it as a vibrant memento of the fundraising success. The 'Street Art Auction' is often the highlight of the day and a great way to double your impact.

Do we need any prior artistic experience to participate?

Not at all. In fact, most people have never held a spray can before they join us! Our professional artists are there to coach your guests through every step, from basic lines to cool filling effects. We make sure everyone feels like a pro within minutes. The focus is on fun, expression, and supporting your cause, not on being a gallery-ready painter.

How many people can join the charity workshop at once?

We can accommodate almost any group size, from small intimate teams of 10 to large-scale public festivals with hundreds of participants. For larger charity events, we often set up multiple 'creation stations' so everyone gets a chance to spray. We provide enough artists to ensure everyone gets personal attention and the energy stays high throughout the entire session.

How long does a standard workshop last?

Typically, a charity graffiti session lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This includes the intro, safety briefing, practice time, and the creation of the final masterpiece. We can also adapt the schedule to fit into a larger event programme, such as a fundraising gala or a community day. We're all about making the timing work perfectly for your specific Funchal charity goals.

What is your cancellation and satisfaction policy?

We offer total peace of mind with a 'pay after the workshop' policy and a 100% satisfaction focus. We also have a network of backup artists ready to step in, so your event is never at risk of cancellation due to illness. Our goal is to make your fundraising efforts as stress-free as possible, allowing you to focus on your mission.

Local culture

Funchal isn't just about beautiful gardens and wine; it’s a city that breathes art! From the famous painted doors of Rua de Santa Maria in the Old Town to the hidden murals tucked away in the hills, street art is part of Funchal's modern soul. Our workshops draw inspiration from this local 'Arte de Portas Abertas' spirit, encouraging participants to open their minds and hearts. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that the street art project in Funchal's Old Town was originally started to revitalise a run-down area? It proved that art has the power to transform communities—exactly what we aim to do with your charity event!
