Can you perform live painting indoors at a Funchal hotel?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, low-odour water-based spray paints for indoor events in Funchal to ensure a comfortable environment for your guests. We also provide professional floor and wall protection to keep the venue spotless, allowing the focus to remain entirely on the incredible artwork being created in real-time.

How long does a live painting session usually last?

The duration is flexible and tailored to your schedule. Most live painting performances in Madeira last between 2 and 5 hours. We can work in short, high-energy bursts during a product launch or provide a steady flow of creativity throughout an entire evening gala. Just let us know your timeline, and we’ll sync up perfectly!

Can my guests participate in the painting process?

Yes! One of our most popular options in Funchal is creating a collaborative piece. Our artist starts the design, and then your guests are invited to pick up a can and add their own flair under professional guidance. It’s a fantastic icebreaker and makes the final artwork even more meaningful for your team or brand.

Do I need to provide any materials for the artist?

Not at all! We come fully prepared with everything needed, including premium spray cans, markers, protective gear, canvases or mobile walls, and drop cloths. Whether your event is at at the Funchal Marina or a private villa, we handle the set-up and the pack-down so you can focus on enjoying the party.

What happens to the artwork after the event ends?

Usually, the client keeps the finished masterpiece! It serves as a permanent memory of the event and looks great in an office lobby or as a prize for a lucky guest. If you don't have space for it, just let us know in advance, and we can discuss disposal or donation options for the artwork.

How far in advance should I book for a Funchal event?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during Funchal's peak event seasons. However, thanks to our network of backup artists, we can often accommodate last-minute requests. Even if your event is next week, give us a shout—we love a creative challenge and will do our best to make it happen!

Local culture

Funchal is a city that naturally breathes creativity, from the famous painted doors of the Rua de Santa Maria to the vibrant flower festivals that coat the streets in colour. There is a deep appreciation for public art here in Madeira, making it the perfect backdrop for a live painting performance. Our artists draw inspiration from the island's dramatic volcanic landscapes and the deep blues of the ocean to create something that feels truly local yet globally modern.

Fun fact: The "Art of Open Doors" project in Funchal's Old Town transformed a once-neglected area into a world-class outdoor gallery. We love bringing that same spirit of revitalization and artistic surprise to your private events! 🎨

Pricing

Our Funchal live painting packages are tailored to the scale of your event. Standard investment ranges from €20 to €45 per person (based on estimated event attendance) or a fixed flat fee for performance and materials.
