Do we need any previous art experience to enjoy this?

Absolutely! Most of our team development participants in Funchal have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists are expert coaches who break down the process into simple, manageable steps. We focus on 'low stakes, high fun' so everyone feels comfortable experimented. By the end of the session, your team will be amazed at the professional-looking mural they have created together.

What happens if the weather in Madeira doesn't cooperate?

Funchal is known for its beautiful weather, but if the clouds roll in over the mountains, we have you covered. We can arrange indoor venues or use covered outdoor spaces to ensure your team development day goes off without a hitch. We also have backup artists available, so your booking is always secure regardless of the circumstances. No rain can stop our creative flow!

What materials are included in the graffiti workshop package?

We provide everything! Your team will receive high-quality spray paint in a vibrant range of colours, professional-grade masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your office wear clean. We also provide the 'canvases'—which can be large wooden panels or a dedicated wall. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and perhaps some comfortable shoes to stand in.

How long does a typical team development session last?

A standard team development workshop in Funchal typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This includes the initial safety briefing, technique practice, and the collaborative mural creation. We can also tailor the duration to fit into a larger corporate retreat or conference schedule if you have specific time constraints. It’s the perfect 'active break' for any itinerary.

Is the spray paint safe to use for a corporate group?

Safety is our top priority. we use low-odour, high-quality paints and provide all necessary PPE, including FFP2 or FFP3 masks. Our artists are highly trained in site safety and group management. We ensure the environment is well-ventilated and that everyone follows the 'spray-safe' rules. It’s a controlled, professional environment designed for maximum fun and zero stress.

Can we include our company logo or specific brand colours?

Yes! One of the best parts of our Funchal workshops is that we can create a design that incorporates your company colours, values, or even your logo. While we encourage free creative expression during the practice phase, the final team mural can be a structured project that reflects your brand’s identity and the goals of your team development day.

How does the booking and payment process work?

We believe in the quality of our experiences, so we don't require upfront payments for most bookings. You can secure your date and then pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the result. Simply get in touch with your estimated group size, and we will send over a transparent, no-obligation quote to get your Madeira adventure started.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next team event in Funchal? Because nothing breaks the ice like a can of spray paint in your hand! It’s the ultimate equaliser—whether you’re the CEO or the new intern, everyone starts with a blank canvas.

Boost collective creativity: Step out of the comfort zone and into the 'splash zone' where new ideas thrive. 🚀
Total inclusivity: You don't need to be an artist to shine; our workshops are designed for all ages and skill levels. 💪
Tangent results: You’ll finish the day with a physical piece of art that represents your team’s hard work and unity. 🏆
Stress-free booking: With no upfront payment and backup artists ready, your event planning is a breeze. ✨
Memorable bonding: Forget trust falls—learning to 'layer' and 'tag' together creates stories your team will tell for years. 🎉

Step by step

The arrival: Meet your professional artist guides at our designated Funchal creative spot. We’ll kick things off with a high-energy intro and a look at the history of street art.
Safety first: We suit everyone up in protective gear and provide a quick briefing on how to use the equipment safely and effectively.
Mastering the can: Learn the basics of 'can control'. Your team will practice lines, dots, and fades on their own individual practice spaces.
The big concept: Together, we’ll brainstorm the 'Masterpiece'. This is where team communication kicks in as you decide on themes and layout.
Sketching the mural: Under the guidance of our artists, the team begins to outline the giant mural, delegating tasks and sections to different members.
Filling and detailing: The fun part! Everyone grabs their cans to add colour, shadows, and those all-important finishing touches that make the art pop.
The grand reveal: Step back and admire your handiwork. This is the perfect moment for a team photo in front of your finished street art project.
Cleanup and debrief: We handle the mess while your team enjoys the 'creative high', discussing the collaboration and wins of the day.

Local culture

Funchal is a city that breathes art, from the painted doors of the Rua de Santa Maria to the modern galleries dotting the Old Town. By choosing a team development activity here, you are tapping into a local culture that celebrates vivid expression and island pride. The laid-back 'Island Time' vibe makes it the perfect place to destress and let the creative juices flow. Our workshop spots are chosen to give you a true taste of the city’s urban charm, away from the typical tourist trails.

Fun Fact: Did you know Funchal’s "Art of Open Doors" project turned a once-derelict part of the city into a permanent outdoor gallery? It’s exactly that spirit of transformation we bring to your team development session! 🎨

Pricing

Our Funchal team development experiences are designed to be accessible and high-value. Prices typically range from €20 to €45 per person, depending on your group size, the chosen location, and any customisations like branded murals or specific catering requirements.

Because every team is different, we don't believe in one-size-fits-all pricing. Whether you're a small startup or a global corporation, we'll build a package that fits your budget and goals.
