What is the minimum age for youth project participants?

Our workshops are designed for everyone from the age of 10 and up. We tailor the complexity of the project to the specific age group of the youth project. Younger participants focus on bold shapes and safety, while teenagers often dive deeper into technical 'wildstyle' lettering and complex shading. No matter the age, we ensure the environment is supportive and creative for all technical skill levels.

Is the paint safe for young people to use?

Absolutely! We prioritize safety above all else. Every participant is provided with high-quality FFP3 masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep their clothes clean. Our professional artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before any spray can is touched. We use low-pressure cans which are much easier for young people to control, ensuring a safe and manageable creative experience for everyone involved.

Do the participants need previous artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are specifically designed for beginners. We start with the absolute basics—how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to draw a straight line. Our artists guide the group through every stage, from the initial sketch to the final highlights. Most participants are amazed at what they can create in just one session without any prior experience.

How long does a typical youth graffiti workshop last?

The duration is flexible but typically ranges between 2 to 3 hours for a standard youth project. This allows enough time for the introduction, safety briefing, practice session, and the creation of a final masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or are planning a larger community event in Dudelange, we can adapt the timeline to fit your programme's requirements perfectly.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything! This includes a wide variety of professional spray paint colours, caps (nozzles) for different line widths, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the surface to paint on—whether that’s a collective wall, individual canvases, or large wooden panels. You just need to provide the space and a group of enthusiastic young people ready to get their hands a little colourful!

Can the workshop be held indoors or outdoors?

We are very flexible. If you have a legal graffiti wall or a space where we can set up large wooden panels, we can paint outdoors. If the weather in Luxembourg isn't cooperating, we can work indoors provided there is excellent ventilation. We use special low-odour paints for indoor sessions and take extra care to protect the surrounding area with floor coverings and plastic sheeting.

How does the payment process work?

No upfront payment is required! We believe in the quality of our workshops, so you only pay after the event has successfully taken place. This makes the booking process stress-free for youth workers and community organisers. You can pay via bank transfer or invoice once the workshop is completed. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event never gets cancelled at the last minute.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth initiative in Dudelange? It's more than just painting—it's about building confidence and community. 🚀

Boosts self-esteem: Seeing a giant piece of art they created from scratch gives young people a massive sense of achievement.
Encourages teamwork: Large-scale murals require communication, planning, and helping each other out.
Safe & legal: we provide a controlled environment where youth can explore urban art without the risks of "wild" graffiti. 🛡️
Expert guidance: Our artists aren't just talented; they're great mentors who know how to connect with young people.
Zero stress booking: With our "pay after" policy and backup artist guarantee, your event is in safe hands.
Physical & creative: It gets kids off their screens and into a physical, tactile, and highly rewarding activity. 🎨

Step by step

Introduction & inspiration: We start with a high-energy intro about the history of street art and look at some epic examples to get the ideas flowing.
Safety first: Everyone gets geared up in their protective suits, gloves, and professional masks while we explain the golden rules of the spray can.
Mastering the 'cap': Participants learn how different nozzles create different effects, from thin 'skinny' lines to massive 'fat' flares.
Sketching the vision: Using markers or chalk, the youth group outlines their design on the wall or canvas, learning about scale and composition.
Filling and fading: Now the fun begins! We teach the techniques for smooth fills and how to blend colours together for that iconic gradient look.
The power of the outline: We show how a sharp outline makes the whole piece 'pop' and look professional.
Highlights and details: The final touches—adding shines, shadows, and 'cuts' to give the artwork depth and character.
The big reveal: We take a group photo with the finished masterpiece and celebrate the incredible work the team has achieved together!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Dudelange, often known as 'Forge du Sud', has a rich industrial history that provides the perfect gritty backdrop for modern street art. We love working in this city because of its commitment to culture—from the Centre national de l'audiovisuel (CNA) to the vibrant local skate parks. There's a unique energy here that blends old-school heritage with a fresh, youthful outlook. 🎨

Fun fact: Did you know that Dudelange is home to one of the most active cultural scenes in Luxembourg? It's the perfect place to transform a grey wall into a community landmark!

Whether we're setting up near the Parc Emile Mayrisch or working with local youth houses, we aim to contribute to the city's evolving visual landscape. We also offer workshops in nearby areas like Luxembourg City and Esch-sur-Alzette!
