Frequently asked questions
How long does a live painting session usually take?
A standard live painting performance usually spans 2 to 4 hours, aligning with the peak activity of your event. However, for massive murals or multi-day conventions in Surabaya, we can arrange for extended sessions or a relay of artists. We work around your schedule to ensure the masterpiece reaches its 'wow' moment exactly when you need it to.
Is the spray paint safe for indoor events?
Safety is our priority! We use high-quality, low-odour professional spray paint and acrylics. For indoor events in venues like the Grand City Convention, we provide floor protection and can use water-based paints that don't produce heavy fumes. We also suggest well-ventilated areas to ensure your guests remain comfortable while enjoying the creative process.
Can you include our company logo in the artwork?
Absolutely! We love it when local businesses get involved. Our artists can incorporate your brand colours, logos, specific slogans, or themes into the artwork. Whether it's a product launch or a corporate anniversary, we make sure the final piece is a perfect reflection of your brand's identity and the 'Kota Pahlawan' spirit.
How much does a live painting performance cost?
Prices are tailored to your specific needs, including the artist's time, canvas size, and material costs. Generally, factors like the location in Surabaya and the complexity of the design play a role. Because every event is unique, we recommend requesting a free quote via our cost calculator to get an accurate estimate for your big day.
What happens if the artist is unavailable last minute?
No stress! If our lead artist is suddenly under the weather, Graffitifun has a solid network of backup professional artists. We guarantee that your event will never be left without a performer. We handle all the logistics behind the scenes so you can focus on hosting your guests and enjoying the show.
Do I need to pay anything upfront?
Not at all! One of the biggest perks of booking with us is that we don't require any payment before the event. You pay only after the workshop or performance is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the energy and art we brought to your Surabaya event before any money changes hands.
What if it rains during an outdoor performance?
Surabaya's weather can be unpredictable! For outdoor events, we ask for a covered area or a marquee to protect the artist and the materials from rain or extreme sun. If the weather turns sour, we can usually move the setup to a sheltered spot fairly quickly. We’ll discuss these contingency plans with you during the booking process.
