Why choose us in Luxembourg City?

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your students? It’s more than just painting walls; it’s a boost in confidence and coordination. Our sessions are specifically designed for primary school ages, focusing on:

  • Creative Freedom: Encourages students who struggle with traditional art to find a medium they love. 🎨
  • Team Building: Collaborative murals require students to communicate and work toward a shared vision. 🤝
  • Physical Coordination: Using spray cans helps develop fine motor skills and spatial awareness. 🔥
  • Safe & Professional: We use child-friendly equipment and provide a strictly supervised environment. 🛡️
  • Stress-Free for Teachers: We bring everything, set it all up, and clean it all up. No hassle for you! ✨

How it works

  1. Introduction & Safety: We start with an energetic briefing on how to use the equipment safely and respect the environment.
  2. Concept Sketching: Kids grab markers and paper to brainstorm their designs and 'tags' before touching the spray cans.
  3. Can Control 101: Our artists demonstrate basic techniques like 'fats' and 'skinnies' (thick and thin lines) and distance control.
  4. Layout & Outlining: The students step up to the wall or canvas to sketch the basic skeleton of their masterpiece.
  5. Colour Filling: This is the fun part! Students learn how to blend colours and fill in their shapes with vibrant hues.
  6. The Sharpen Up: We teach the kids how to add 'lowlights' and 'highlights' to make their 3D letters pop off the surface.
  7. Final Details: Adding stars, bubbles, or splashes to give the artwork that authentic street art character.
  8. The Big Reveal: A group photo with the finished project and a chance for the kids to talk about what they created!

Frequently asked questions

Is the paint safe for primary school children?

Safety is our absolute top priority. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier for small hands to control and provide high-quality FFP3 face masks, gloves, and protective overalls. Our instructors are professional artists experienced in working with primary school children, ensuring a supervised, secure, and supportive environment where every child feels confident to explore their creativity safely.

What should the students wear on the day?

Ideally, students should wear old clothes and sneakers, just in case! While we provide full protective gear including suits and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be a bit messy when kids are having this much fun. We suggest parents send them in clothes that they don't mind getting a tiny bit of 'artistic character' on, just to be safe while they work on their masterpieces.

Do we need to travel to a studio or can you come to us?

We are fully mobile! We can host the workshop at your school premises in Luxembourg City, using temporary wooden walls or plastic sheeting to protect your property. Alternatively, we can arrange for the session to take place at a legal street art location nearby. We handle all the setup and cleanup, so your school remains spotless while the kids get creative.

How long does a typical school session last?

A standard primary school workshop usually lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance to keep younger children engaged without them getting tired. We start with a brief safety talk and history lesson, move into sketching, and spend the majority of the time with cans in hand, ensuring every child completes their own artwork.

Can the children keep the art they create?

Absolutely! We offer many formats, including individual canvases that students can take home, or large collaborative murals where the whole class works together to create a permanent piece of art for the school hallway or playground. Collaborative projects are fantastic for teaching teamwork and communication, while individual pieces give students a personal sense of pride and achievement.

Do the pupils need any prior drawing or art skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artist-educators guide the children through every step, from holding the can to creating basic shapes and shadows. We focus on 'creative play' and expression rather than technical perfection. You’ll be amazed at how quickly primary schoolers pick up the techniques and start producing vibrant, impressive work!

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Weather in Luxembourg can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered. If we are working outdoors and it rains, we can move the session under a large canopy or reschedule to a backup date. Alternatively, if your school has a well-ventilated indoor space or sports hall, we can set up our 'clean' indoor graffiti stations using water-based paints or specialized protective flooring.
