Why choose a graffiti workshop for your students in Dudelange? It’s more than just spraying paint on a wall—it’s an opportunity to build skills that last a lifetime. Here’s why schools love working with us:

  • Boosts Confidence: Even students who think they "can't draw" walk away with a masterpiece they’re proud of. ✹
  • Authentic Street Art: No "school-ified" versions here; students learn real techniques from professional graffiti artists. đŸ”„
  • Stress Relief: Spraying paint is a fantastic physical and creative outlet for teenagers dealing with exam pressure.
  • Teamwork in Action: Creating a large-scale mural requires communication, planning, and collaboration. đŸ€
  • 100% Engagement: It's nearly impossible to be bored when you have a spray can in your hand!
  • Safety First: We provide top-tier protective gear and professional supervision at all times. đŸ’Ș

How it works

  1. Introduction & safety: We start with a high-energy intro about graffiti history and a vital safety briefing on how to use the gear properly.
  2. Sketching the vision: Students grab paper and pencils to brainstorm their tags and designs, learning about letter structures and "flow".
  3. Can control basics: Our pros demonstrate how to hold the spray can, how to control pressure, and how to create different line widths.
  4. Practice run: Everyone gets a chance to practice their first lines and circles on a demo wall to get a feel for the paint.
  5. Outlining the masterpiece: The real fun begins as students start sketching their final designs onto the large canvases or wall.
  6. Filling with colour: This is where the mural comes to life! Students learn blending techniques and how to fill large areas efficiently.
  7. The finishing touches: We teach kids how to add highlights, 3D effects, and "force fields" (bold outlines) to make their art pop.
  8. The big reveal & photos: We wrap up by admiring the collective work, taking group photos, and celebrating the new street artists!

Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical school workshop last?

Most of our secondary school workshops in Dudelange last between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe is perfect as it allows enough time for a solid introduction, technique practice, and the final creation of a large-scale piece. If you have a specific school schedule to stick to, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your morning or afternoon sessions without losing any of the creative excitement.

What equipment do the students need to bring?

We take care of everything! Graffitifun provides all the high-quality spray paint, caps, safety masks, protective gloves, and coveralls. We also bring the canvases or mobile boards if there isn't a permanent wall available. The only thing the students need to bring is their enthusiasm and perhaps some old clothes and shoes, just in case a stray drop of paint finds its way past the protective gear!

Is it safe for teenagers to use spray paint?

Absolutely. Safety is our number one priority. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier for beginners to control and provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure no fumes are inhaled. Our professional artists are trained to manage large groups and maintain a safe, respectful environment throughout the session. We also ensure the workspace is well-ventilated or outdoors to keep everyone breathing easy.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

While we love the sun, we are prepared for the Luxembourgish weather! If it rains, we can move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space using water-based, low-odour spray paints specifically designed for interior use. Alternatively, we can use our backup artist system to reschedule to a better day. We always ensure the creative flow isn't interrupted by a few raindrops.

Do students need to be 'artistic' to join in?

The best part is that no previous drawing or painting skill is required at all! Graffiti is a very forgiving and accessible art form. Our instructors break down the process into simple steps—from holding the can to creating shadows—so that every student, regardless of their artistic background, can produce something they are proud of. It’s all about building confidence and having a blast with colour.

What is the maximum group size you can accommodate?

We are very flexible with group sizes. Whether you have a small elective art class of 15 students or an entire year group of 100+, we can scale our team of artists to match. For larger groups, we rotate students or have multiple 'stations' running simultaneously to ensure everyone gets plenty of hands-on time with the spray cans and personal guidance from our pros.

Can we choose a specific theme for the mural?

Yes! We love it when schools have a specific theme, such as 'sustainability', 'identity', or 'community'. Our artists can help students brainstorm and sketch designs that reflect your chosen topic before they start painting. This makes the workshop not just a fun activity, but a meaningful educational experience that ties into your curriculum or a specific school project you're currently running.

How do we book and when do we pay?

Booking is simple and risk-free. You can request a quote via our website or use our Cost Calculator. Once we've agreed on a date and price, your booking is confirmed. The best part? There is no upfront payment required. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed and the students are buzzing with excitement. We make the admin side as stress-free as possible for teachers.
