Do our employees need any prior art experience?

Absolutely not! Our Medan graffiti workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists will guide your team through every step, from basic can control to layering and shading techniques. We focus on the fun of the creative process rather than technical perfection, ensuring everyone in your company feels like a pro by the end of the session. It is all about trying something new together!

Is it safe and do you provide protective gear?

Safety is our top priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality FFP2 face masks, disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. We strictly use professional-grade spray paint that meets safety standards. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a worry-free and secure environment for your entire team throughout the event.

Where in Medan do the workshops take place?

The beauty of graffiti is its flexibility! We can host the workshop at one of our dedicated street art locations in Medan, or we can bring the 'street' to you. If you have an outdoor space at your office or a rented venue with proper ventilation, we can set up mobile plastic walls or large canvases. This makes it incredibly easy to integrate the activity into your existing company outing schedule.

How long does a typical company outing session last?

A standard company outing workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives your team enough time for a proper introduction, practice rounds on the 'trial wall', and the completion of a final collaborative masterpiece. We can also adjust the timing to fit your specific itinerary, whether you need a quick 90-minute energy booster or a full afternoon of creative immersion.

What is your payment policy for corporate bookings?

We believe in keeping things simple and stress-free. You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book your workshop with Graffitifun. We trust our clients and focus on delivering an amazing experience first. Payment is settled after the workshop is completed, ensuring you are 100% satisfied with the event before any transaction takes place. This makes the administrative side of your outing a total breeze!

What happens if it rains on the day of our outing?

Rainy days won't stop the creativity! We always have a backup plan. If your chosen location is outdoors and the Medan weather isn't cooperating, we can either move to a sheltered area or reschedule using our backup artists. We are highly flexible and will work closely with you to ensure your company outing remains on track regardless of the tropical weather.

What is the maximum group size for a corporate event?

We can accommodate groups of almost any size! Whether you are a small startup team of 10 or a large corporate department of 200, we scale our workshop to fit. For larger groups, we bring in extra professional artists to ensure every participant gets personal guidance and enough 'spray time'. Just let us know your estimated headcount, and we will tailor the setup perfectly for your squad.

The experience

A graffiti workshop is the ultimate 'level-up' for your corporate culture. It removes the hierarchy and lets everyone from the CEO to the interns collaborate on a level playing field. It's hands-on, slightly rebellious, and incredibly rewarding! 🔥

Unleash Creativity: Help your team think outside the box (and the office) with a medium that encourages bold choices.
Better Together: Nothing builds a bond like creating a massive piece of art that requires communication and shared effort. 🤝
Stress Relief: There is something deeply satisfying about the sound of a spray can and the flow of colour—the perfect antidote to work stress.
Lasting Memories: Take home a custom canvas mural for the office wall as a permanent reminder of your team's synergy. 🏆
Zero Risk Booking: With our backup artists and no-upfront-payment policy, your Medan event is in safe hands.
Inclusive Fun: Absolutely no prior skill needed; our artists make sure everyone shines!

Step by step

The Arrival & Intro: We meet at your chosen Medan location. Our pro artists kick things off with a high-energy intro into the world of graffiti culture.
Safety & Gear Up: Everyone gets fitted with protective suits, gloves, and masks. Safety first, style a close second! 🎨
First Lines: You'll grab a can and head to the 'practice wall'. Here, you'll learn 'can control'—how to create thin lines, thick fades, and various patterns.
The Brainstorm: Your team will collaborate on a design. Will it be your company logo, a motivational word, or a wild mural representing your Medan office culture?
Sketching the Vision: Under our guidance, the outlines are placed onto the main surface. This is where the teamwork really kicks into high gear.
Filling & Fading: The fun part! Everyone grabs their favourite colours and starts filling in the design, learning shading and blending techniques as they go.
The Outlining & Details: Our pros help you add those sharp 'highlights' and 'power lines' that make your artwork pop and look truly professional.
The Big Reveal: We step back, peel off any tape, and admire the collective masterpiece. It’s the perfect moment for a celebratory team photo! 📸
Wrap Up & Takeaway: We handle the entire clean-up. If you worked on canvases, you get to take your new office decor back with you immediately.

Good to know

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Medan is a city known for its incredible diversity and bold character—just like graffiti! From the historic architecture of the colonial era to the modern vibrant food scene, Medan provides the perfect backdrop for a creative explosion. The local street art scene here is growing, with hidden gems tucked away in the city's many alleys, reflecting the energetic spirit of the local 'Anak Medan'.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Medan's iconic 'Becak' (motorised rickshaws) are often decorated with hand-painted art and bright colours? It’s a local form of street expression that has been around for decades! 🛺

When we host your workshop, we channel that local 'Medan Bung!' energy into your artwork. Whether we are set up in a lush outdoor space or near the urban centre, the atmosphere of the city will surely inspire your team to create something as bold and flavorful as a plate of authentic Bolu Meranti!
