Do I need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Our workshops in Medan are designed for everyone from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists will guide you through the basics, starting with how to hold the can and moving on to advanced techniques like shading and outlining. You don't need any prior drawing skills to walk away with a piece of art you're proud of. It's all about having fun and being creative together! 🎨

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paints and always conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially prepared indoor spaces. Our artists give a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a fun and worry-free experience for your entire group in Medan. ✅

What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, spray paint can be a bit unpredictable! It’s best to leave your favourite designer gear at home and opt for something practical so you can focus entirely on your masterpiece without worrying about a stray splash of colour. 👕

How long does the session last?

A standard cultural event workshop in Medan typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the creation of your final masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or a larger event, we can easily adapt the timing to fit your needs—just let us know what works best for your itinerary! ⏱️

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

Rain doesn't have to stop the fun! In Medan, we always have backup plans. We can often move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with proper ventilation. If the weather looks truly uncooperative, we’ll work with you to reschedule or find a suitable alternative. Plus, with our backup artist system, you never have to worry about a cancellation from our side. ☔

Do I need to pay upfront to book?

Booking is super easy and flexible! You don't need to pay anything upfront. Simply request a quote via our website, and once we've settled on the details, your spot is reserved. You only pay after the workshop is finished and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. This way, you can book with total peace of mind and focus on the excitement! 💸

Can you host workshops in other Indonesian cities?

Yes, we love traveling! While we are highlighting Medan, we also host amazing graffiti workshops in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Semarang. Whether you are planning a multi-city brand activation or a series of school workshops across Indonesia, our team is ready to bring the spray cans to you. Just reach out and tell us where your next event is happening! 🇮🇩

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Medan is a city known for its incredible diversity and culinary soul, but its street art scene is rapidly becoming its new heartbeat. From the colonial architecture of the Old City to the modern vibes of its shopping districts, there is a unique "Medanese" grit that translates perfectly into graffiti art. Local artists here blend traditional motifs with modern tags, creating a visual language that is uniquely North Sumatran.

Fun Medan Fact: Did you know that Medan’s street art scene has grown so fast that entire alleyways in the historic district have been transformed into "open-air galleries" by local collectives? It’s the perfect backdrop for your own creative journey! 🎨
