Is graffiti gardening safe for children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective masks, gloves, and overalls to keep the kids safe and their clothes clean. We also use professional-grade spray cans that are easy for smaller hands to handle, and our expert instructors supervise every single spray to ensure a fun, hazard-free experience in Medan.

How long does a birthday workshop last?

Our kids' birthday workshops usually last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning the history of street art, practice time, and completing their final masterpiece. It’s a high-energy session that keeps the children engaged from start to finish without them getting tired or losing focus.

Can you host the party at my home in Medan?

We are totally flexible! We can host the party at one of our vibrant local partner spots in Medan, or we can bring the entire street art studio to your backyard or a local park. If we come to you, we take care of all the protective covering to ensure your property stays exactly as it was—minus the new art on the canvases!

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?

We recommend our graffiti parties for kids aged 6 and up. At this age, they have the motor skills to control the spray cans and can really follow the creative techniques we teach. We adjust our teaching style based on the age group to make sure everyone feels like a pro.

Do the kids need any previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artist-mentors guide the children through every step, from drawing a basic 'tag' to creating complex 'bubbles' and 'shadows.' By the end of the party, even the kids who thought they couldn't draw will be amazed at what they've created.

What materials do I need to provide?

We bring everything! This includes premium spray paint in a rainbow of colours, canvases, protective gear (jackets/gloves/masks), and professional caps for the cans. You just need to provide the enthusiastic mini-artists and perhaps some snacks and drinks for the break. We handle the setup and the entire cleanup process.

What happens if it rains on the day?

A little rain doesn't stop the creativity! If we are outdoors, we usually try to find a sheltered spot or use gazebos. In Medan, we always have a backup plan or can reschedule if the weather is truly tropical. Our 'Backup Artist' guarantee also means your party will never be cancelled from our side.

Step by step

Booking and planning: Reach out to us to secure your date. We'll chat about your group size in Medan and whether you want a specific theme for the birthday mural.
The big arrival: Our professional graffiti artists arrive at your chosen location with all the gear. We set up the workspaces and protective flooring.
Safety first: Every child gets suited up in protective overalls, gloves, and a high-quality mask. We explain how to use the cans safely and respectfully.
The tag reveal: Kids start by learning the art of the 'tag'—their own unique street art signature—using professional markers or cans on practice boards.
Mastering the technique: Our instructors demonstrate 'fading', 'outlining', and 'filling'. The kids get hands-on practice to feel the pressure of the spray.
The main event: Each child works on their individual canvas or helps create a massive collaborative birthday mural for the guest of honour.
Final touches: We help the kids add those sharp outlines and highlights that make the artwork pop and look like professional street art.
Photo op and cleanup: We take group photos with the finished masterpieces. Then, we pack everything up, leaving your Medan location spotless.
Take home the art: The best part? Every child gets to take their own canvas home as the ultimate party bag gift!

Local culture

Medan is a city brimming with character, from the historic charm of Maimun Palace to the bustling energy of Merdeka Walk. But look closer at the alleyways and urban spaces, and you'll see a growing appreciation for contemporary street art and murals. By hosting a graffiti party here, you're tapping into that modern Medan spirit—balancing tradition with bold, new creative expressions. 🏙️

Fun Medan Fact: Did you know Medan is famous for its "Becak" drivers? Just like the intricate designs on a Becak, graffiti is all about personal style and making a statement on the street!

Our artists are local experts who understand the Medan creative scene. We encourage the kids to take inspiration from the city's vibrant colours and diverse culture while they spray their way to glory. It’s more than just a party; it’s a chance for Medan’s youth to contribute to the city's artistic dialogue in a safe and supervised environment. 🔥
