Do students need any prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! Our Medan workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional street artists guide your secondary school students through every stage, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering shading techniques. We focus on the process and the fun, ensuring every student walks away with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of, regardless of their prior artistic background.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for secondary school students?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to all students in Medan. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control, and our artists conduct a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and that all students follow strict safety protocols throughout the session.

Can we choose a specific theme for the mural?

Absolutely! Whether it is a specific school value, a curriculum topic, or a local Medan cultural theme, we can tailor the workshop to fit. Many schools choose to have students collaborate on a large mural that represents their class identity or a social cause they are passionate about. Just let us know your goals when booking!

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard secondary school workshop typically lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This allows enough time for the introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of the artwork. We can adjust the duration slightly to fit into your school’s specific timetable if required, ensuring a seamless fit for your Indonesian school day.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We supply everything! This includes premium spray paint in a huge range of colours, caps/nozzles, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the surfaces to paint on—whether that is individual canvases or large boards for a communal mural. Your school just needs to provide the outdoor space and the enthusiastic students; we handle all the logistics.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Medan weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got it covered. We always recommend having a covered outdoor area or a high-ceilinged, well-ventilated indoor space as a backup. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we can move the session to the backup location or, thanks to our flexible team, look at rescheduling options to ensure the fun still happens.
