Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! This leadership training is designed for professionals, not picassos. Our expert Kilkenny artists will guide you through the basics of spray painting, lettering, and filling. The focus is on the creative process and how you lead your team through an unfamiliar challenge. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at what you can produce when you work together.

Is the workshop safe and what should we wear?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your professional clothes clean. We use specialized low-pressure spray cans that are easier to control, and our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas. Our professional artists are trained to manage group safety while ensuring everyone has a fantastic, high-energy experience.

How long does the leadership training session last?

Our typical leadership workshops last between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows for an introduction to graffiti history, basic technique practice, and the final collaborative mural project where leadership skills are put to the test. We find this duration is perfect for keeping energy levels high while allowing enough time for meaningful team reflection and debriefing.

Can you come to our corporate office in Kilkenny?

We are incredibly flexible. We can host your team at one of our vibrant local street art spots in Kilkenny, or we can bring the entire setup to your office or a venue of your choice. We use mobile "graffiti walls" that allow us to set up a professional street art environment almost anywhere, provided there is adequate ventilation and space.

How does graffiti translate to leadership skills?

While 'fun' is the engine, 'leadership development' is the destination. The workshop is designed to highlight team roles, decision-making under pressure, and communicative clarity. We can tailor the session to focus on specific goals, such as breaking down silos, improving creative problem-solving, or fostering a culture of innovation within your management team.

What happens if we need to reschedule our booking?

We understand that corporate plans can change. One of the Graffitifun advantages is that we have a large pool of backup artists available to ensure your event always goes ahead. Because we don't require upfront payment — you pay after the workshop — we build a relationship based on trust and 100% satisfaction. Your success is our mission.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for leadership development in Kilkenny? Because traditional training often fails to break the ice. Street art forces leaders to be vulnerable, visual, and collaborative in ways they never expected. Here’s why it works:

Breaks down hierarchies: When everyone is wearing a protective suit and holding a can, titles disappear, and authentic communication begins. 🏆
Fosters real-time innovation: Graffiti requires quick thinking and adapting to mistakes—the exact skills needed in today's fast-paced business world.
Enhances visual communication: Learn to convey complex strategies through simple, powerful imagery.
Boosts team morale: There is nothing like the shared adrenaline of creating a massive mural together to bond a leadership group. 🚀
Tangible results: Take your canvas back to the office as a permanent reminder of your team's collective vision and unity.

Step by step

Mission briefing: We kick off with an energetic introduction to the world of street art and how the 'graffiti mindset' applies to modern leadership.
Skill acquisition: Under the guidance of professional artists, your team learns the fundamental techniques of handling a spray can, nozzle types, and line control.
The vision phase: Leaders must work with their team to translate a corporate concept or value into a visual sketch. This tests communication and consensus-building.
Defining roles: Just like a successful company, a mural needs roles. We assign 'lead outlines', 'fillers', and 'detailers' to simulate workplace hierarchies in a fun environment.
Collaborative execution: The cans start rattling! The team works together on a massive canvas, requiring constant communication to ensure the pieces align perfectly.
Pressure test: Our instructors introduce 'creative pivots' or time-challenges to see how leaders handle unexpected changes to the project scope.
The grand reveal: Step back and admire the collective masterpiece. It’s a powerful moment that visualizes what your team can achieve when aligned.
Debrief and reflection: We wrap up with a discussion on the leadership dynamics observed, relating the creative experience back to your specific Kilkenny office challenges.

Local culture

Kilkenny might be famous for its medieval history and the stunning Kilkenny Castle, but the city has a modern, creative pulse that is perfect for street art. From the hidden gems down the 'slips' to the vibrant arts scene during the Arts Festival, the city is a canvas waiting to be explored. We bring that local Kilkenny spirit of craftsmanship and heritage into our workshops, blending traditional leadership values with contemporary urban expression. 🔥

Fun Fact: While Kilkenny is known as the "Marble City" due to its dark limestone, we believe its brightest future is painted in the vibrant colors of its creative leaders!

Whether you are based in the Smithwick’s Quarter or the bustling business parks on the city outskirts, we bring the vibe of a modern gallery to your doorstep. Ireland's boutique capital is the perfect backdrop for a team looking to reinvent their approach to leadership. 🎨
