Do I need to have any artistic skills to enjoy the showroom experience?

Absolutely not! Our Kilkenny showroom experiences are designed for everyone, from people who can't draw a straight line to seasoned crafters. Our professional graffiti artists will guide you through the basics of can control, nozzle selection, and layering. You'll be amazed at the masterpiece you can create with just a little bit of expert coaching and the right atmosphere. It’s all about having a laugh and trying something new!

Is the indoor graffiti experience safe and what gear is provided?

We take safety seriously so you can focus on the fun. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and full-body ponchos to keep your clothes clean. Our showroom is fitted with professional-grade ventilation systems specifically designed for aerosol use. Additionally, our instructors give a full safety briefing before any cans are shaken, ensuring a controlled and worry-free environment for all participants.

How long does a typical session at the Kilkenny showroom last?

Most of our retail and showroom sessions in Kilkenny last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a warm-up, a demonstration of techniques, and plenty of hands-on time for you to complete your own canvas or mural section. If you’re looking for a more intensive masterclass, we can certainly extend the duration to suit your group’s specific needs.

What is the minimum and maximum group size for a booking?

We are very flexible with group sizes! Our Kilkenny setup can accommodate small, intimate groups of 4-5 people looking for a unique afternoon out, all the way up to larger retail activations or corporate teams of 30+. For very large groups, we often run rotating sessions or "drop-in" style workshops so everyone gets a chance to get creative without the space feeling crowded.

How does the 'pay after the workshop' policy work?

One of the best parts of the Graffitifun experience is that you don't pay anything until the day of the workshop! We trust our customers and want you to feel confident in your booking. You can book your slot, and the payment is settled once the paint has dried and you're happy with the results. It makes the whole process stress-free and straightforward.

Can we choose what we spray on during the session?

While we usually provide high-quality canvases for you to work on (which you get to keep!), we can also arrange for you to spray on other items like tote bags or even customized panels. If you have a specific retail display or a piece of furniture you'd like to 'upcycle' with street art, just let us know in advance and we'll do our best to make it happen!

Gear up: Don your protective poncho, gloves, and mask—it's time to look like a pro before you act like one!
Master the tools: Learn the difference between fat caps and skinny caps and how to control the pressure of the spray.
Sketch your vision: Use chalk or light spray to map out your design on the canvas or showroom wall.
Fill and fade: Start layering your colours! We'll teach you how to create those iconic 3D effects and smooth gradients.
Outline and detail: Add the sharp 'power lines' and highlights that make your artwork pop off the surface.
The final reveal: Step back, remove the protective gear, and admire your brand-new piece of street art.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Kilkenny might be world-famous for its medieval castle and winding lanes, but there’s a pulsing underground art scene that’s just waiting to be explored. Our showroom experience taps into that local energy, offering a modern contrast to the city's historic backdrop. From the vibrant murals hiding in Plain's Lane to the artistic flair of the Kilkenny Design Centre, the city is a haven for makers and creators. 🏰

Fun Fact: Did you know Kilkenny is often called the "Creative Heart of Ireland"? While most people think of pottery and weaving, the city has a growing community of street artists who use the local landscape as their ever-changing urban canvas! ✨
