Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our Kilkenny workshops are designed for everyone from total beginners to seasoned scribblers. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering complex shading techniques. Most of our guests have never touched a spray can before they arrive, and they always leave amazed by what they've created. It's all about having fun and being creative!

How long does a typical workshop session last?

Standard workshops usually run for about 2 to 2.5 hours. This gives us plenty of time for the safety briefing, practicing your technique on the practice walls, and then completing your final masterpiece. If you're booking for a specific event like a festival or a large company outing in Kilkenny, we can adjust the timing to fit your schedule perfectly. We never rush the creative process!

What materials are included in the price?

We've got you covered! We provide high-quality spray cans in a huge range of colours, professional-grade masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. Depending on the workshop type, we also provide the boards or canvases you'll be painting on. Just bring your enthusiasm and maybe wear some old shoes just in case! We handle all the messy logistics so you can focus on the art.

Is spray painting safe for everyone?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, high-quality spray paint and provide all participants with professional FFP2 or FFP3 respiratory masks and gloves. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our artists are trained to supervise the sessions closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly and safely while having a total blast in a controlled environment.

What happens if it rains on the day?

Ireland's weather can be a bit unpredictable, but the craic must go on! If we're planned for an outdoor session and the Kilkenny clouds open up, we usually have backup indoor locations or covered areas ready to go. We always check the forecast in advance and coordinate with you to ensure your workshop happens in a comfortable, dry environment regardless of what the Irish sky is doing.

Can you host the workshop at my own location in Kilkenny?

We love a good road trip! While we have primary spots we use around Kilkenny, we are fully mobile. We can bring the entire graffiti experience to your office car park, a school yard, or a private event space. As long as we have a suitable wall or space to set up our mobile boards and enough ventilation, we can turn almost any Kilkenny location into a temporary street art studio.

Do I need to pay upfront to secure my booking?

We believe in flexibility and trust. For most bookings, you don't need to pay anything upfront. You can pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We accept various payment methods including bank transfers and cards. This ensures you can book with total peace of mind, knowing that we are committed to delivering an incredible, high-energy creative session first.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Kilkenny might be famous for its medieval castle and the "Black Abbey," but there's a growing pulse of modern creativity through its winding laneways. While the city is steeped in history, the local arts scene is constantly evolving beyond traditional crafts. From the vibrant atmosphere of the Kilkenny Arts Festival to the hidden creative corners near the River Nore, this city has always been a hub for makers. Our workshops tap into that local "Maker" spirit, offering a contemporary contrast to the city's ancient stone walls. 🏰

Fun Fact: Did you know Kilkenny is often called the "Marble City" because of the dark limestone found locally? While we won't be painting on 12th-century stone, we definitely bring that same solid Kilkenny pride to every mural we create! 🎨

Pricing

Our Kilkenny graffiti experiences are priced between €30 and €60 per person.

Prices vary depending on the group size, location, and whether you want to take your artwork home on individual canvases or create one giant collaborative mural.

We believe in transparency and fairness, so there are no hidden fees and no upfront payment required for most bookings!
