Do I need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Our workshops are specifically designed to be accessible for everyone attending the festival. Our professional artists break down the spray-painting process into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Most participants have never held a spray can before they meet us, and by the end of the session, they are shocked at the professional-looking art they've created. We provide all the guidance you need to feel confident and creative.

Will I get paint on my clothes during the workshop?

Not at all. We provide full protective gear, including high-quality overalls, gloves, and masks. While we recommend not wearing your absolute favourite designer outfit just in case, our gear is very effective at keeping the paint on the canvas and off your clothes. It’s all about getting stuck into the creative process without worrying about the mess!

Is the spray paint safe to use in a crowded festival environment?

Safety is our number one priority. We use high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary safety equipment, including FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes. Our artists are trained in site safety and will manage the workshop area to ensure a safe distance is kept between participants. It's a controlled, fun, and completely safe environment for festival-goers.

How long does a typical festival graffiti session last?

The duration can be tailored to the festival's flow. We offer 'drop-in' style sessions that take about 20-30 minutes for a quick tag, or more structured workshops that last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This flexibility ensures that guests can enjoy a deep-dive creative session or a quick artistic break between their favourite musical acts.

Can we create a collaborative mural instead of individual pieces?

Yes, we can! For music festivals, we love creating large-scale collaborative pieces where many guests contribute to one massive mural. Alternatively, we can provide individual canvases or boards so people can take their own masterpiece home. We can even theme the artwork to match the festival’s branding or the specific musical genres being celebrated.

What kind of space do you need at the festival grounds?

We are highly flexible. Whether you have a small boutique stage or a massive main-arena layout, we can scale our setup to fit. We bring our own mobile graffiti walls and all necessary supplies. All we need is a flat surface and a bit of space for people to move around. We handle the setup and cleanup entirely, leaving the site as we found it.

What happens if an artist is unavailable on the day?

We hate cancellations as much as you do! To ensure your event goes off without a hitch, we always have backup artists on standby. If a lead artist is unable to make it due to an emergency, we have a professional ready to step in. Our reliability is one of the reasons festival organisers love working with us across China.

The experience

Adding a graffiti workshop to your music festival isn't just about entertainment; it's about creating a viral, shareable moment that stays with your audience long after the final encore. Here is why festival organisers in Xian choose us:

Total Guest Engagement: It transforms passive spectators into active creators, giving them a break from the mosh pit to find their flow. 🎤
Instagram-Gold Backdrops: The resulting murals become the most photographed spots at the festival, boosting your event's social media reach.
Professional Artist Leads: We work with the best in the business—artists who aren't just talented with a can, but great at coaching others. ✨
Zero Hassle: We bring everything. You provide the space; we provide the vibe, the gear, and the cleanup.
Inclusive Fun: Graffiti knows no age or language barriers, making it perfect for the diverse crowds of Xian festivals. 🏆
Risk-Free Booking: With backup artists and a pay-after-the-event policy, your festival's entertainment is in safe hands.

Step by step

Consultation & concept: We chat about your festival's vibe in Xian and determine the best location on-site for the graffiti zone.
On-site setup: Our team arrives early to set up mobile walls, flooring protection, and our 'colour bar' of professional spray cans.
Live demonstration: Our artists kick things off with a high-energy demo to draw in the festival crowds and show what's possible.
Safety briefing: Every participant gets kitted out in protective gear and receives a quick walkthrough on how to use the cans safely.
Technique training: We teach the basics—fading, outlines, and 'fat cap' flares—so everyone has the skills to start their piece.
The creative phase: Whether it's a collaborative mural or individual boards, the painting begins! Our artists move through the crowd offering tips.
Finishing touches: We help participants add those professional sharp edges and highlights that make the artwork pop.
Photo op & gallery: The finished wall stays on display throughout the festival as a vibrant, guest-created backdrop for social media photos.
Professional pack-down: We handle the entire cleanup, ensuring the festival grounds remain pristine after the event ends.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Xian is a city where every brick tells a story, from the Ming Dynasty City Walls to the Terracotta Army. But beyond the history, there is a thriving, modern creative scene emerging in districts like the Textile City Art Zone. Bringing a graffiti workshop to a music festival here creates a stunning contrast—modern urban expression meeting centuries of tradition. We love tapping into that Xian energy, encouraging participants to mix traditional Chinese calligraphic motifs with bold, Western-style graffiti lettering.

Fun Fact: While Xian is famous for ancient history, it’s also a major hub for electronic music in Northwest China. Our graffiti workshops perfectly bridge the gap between the 'Old World' vibes and the new 'Cyberpunk' feel of the city's night scenes! 🎨

Whether your festival is taking place near the bustling Beilin area or a larger outdoor venue on the outskirts, our professional setup complements the local atmosphere perfectly. We make sure the art created reflects the unique spirit of the Shaanxi province.

Pricing

Every music festival is unique, and our pricing reflects that. Whether you want a single boutique station or a massive interactive graffiti wall spanning the entire venue, we tailor the setup to your budget and guest count. Our goal is to provide a premium experience that adds massive value to your festival ticket.
