Do I need any previous art experience to join the workshop?

No artistic skill is required at all! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at guiding beginners through the process. We start with basic spray can techniques and letter structures, ensuring everyone feels confident before moving to the main wall. Most of our guests have never held a spray can before, and they are usually amazed by what they can create by the end of the session. It's all about having fun and being creative together!🎨

What should I wear, and will I get messy?

Safety and cleanliness are our priorities. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and shoe covers to keep your clothes clean. However, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny speck of paint on. We also provide high-quality masks to ensure you aren't breathing in any fumes while you create your masterpiece in Xi'an.💪

How long does the graffiti workshop experience last?

A standard cultural event workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, practice time, and the creation of a final large-scale piece. If you have a specific schedule for your event in Xi'an, we can easily tailor the duration to fit your itinerary perfectly. Just let us know your requirements!⏱️

Do I need to pay in advance for the booking?

We believe in the quality of our experiences, so we don't require any payment upfront. You can book your slot, and the payment is only settled after the workshop is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we've provided. It’s part of our commitment to making your cultural event in Xi'an as stress-free and enjoyable as possible from start to finish.✨

Where in Xi'an do the workshops take place?

Our workshops are incredibly versatile! We can host them at dedicated street art locations, or we can bring the experience to your specific event venue using mobile graffiti walls. Whether you want to be in the heart of the city or at a private corporate location, we handle the logistics. We also have backup artists ready to go, so your event will never be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We’ve got you covered!🏢

Can you accommodate large groups or corporate teams?

Absolutely! We love hosting large groups for cultural events, festivals, and corporate team-building. Our team of artists can manage large crowds by breaking them into smaller squads, ensuring everyone gets hands-on time with the spray cans. We’ve managed events for dozens of people at once, creating massive collaborative murals that look incredible. It’s a fantastic way to build team spirit and create a shared memory!🔥碰🎉

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: Our pro artists kick things off with a brief history of street art and a look at how global styles blend with local Xi'an culture.
Safety first: Get geared up in your protective overalls, gloves, and masks. We’ll show you how to handle the cans safely and effectively.
First lines: Start with the basics! You'll learn how to control the pressure, create thin lines, and fill in shapes on your practice board.
Design session: Sketch out your ideas. Whether it's a team logo, a cultural symbol, or a wild freestyle piece, we’ll help you refine the layout.
Colour blending: Discover the secrets of fades and gradients. Our artists will show you how to make colours pop and transition smoothly.
The big wall: Move onto the main event! Work individually or as a group to apply your skills to a large-scale mural or individual canvases.
Final outlines: Add the finishing touches. Crisp outlines and highlights are what make a piece of graffiti truly stand out and look professional.
Photos & celebration: Once the paint is dry, we’ll take high-quality photos of your group and your artwork to remember the day.
Wrap up: We handle all the cleanup. You head off with a huge smile and a brand-new set of creative skills!

Local culture

Xi'an is a city where every stone tells a story of the Silk Road and imperial dynasties. But look closer at the modern districts, and you'll find a growing appreciation for contemporary urban art. While the ancient City Wall stands tall, the local creative scene is bursting with energy in areas like the Textile City Art District. Our workshops embrace this contrast, often incorporating traditional Chinese motifs or calligraphy styles into modern graffiti designs. It’s a fascinating way to bridge the gap between "Old China" and the "New Era."

Fun Fact: Did you know that Xi'an was the eastern starting point of the Silk Road? Just as precious goods and ideas once flowed through these gates, we’re now bringing global street art styles to blend with the local creative spirit! 🌏🖌️

Whether you are visiting from Shanghai or Beijing, or you're a local looking for something fresh, our experience reflects the unique soul of Shaanxi province. We don't just teach you to spray; we help you find your own "Xi'an style" in a city that has been an artistic hub for over 3,000 years.
