Is a graffiti workshop safe for children during a communion party?

Absolutely! While we deal with spray paint, we put safety first. We provide all participants in Eldoret with high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks. Our professional artists supervise every second of the session to ensure the paint stays on the wall (or canvas) and doesn't end up where it shouldn't. It's a controlled, creative, and completely safe environment for kids and adults alike.

Where in Eldoret can the graffiti workshop take place?

We are super flexible! Whether you are hosting the communion celebration in your backyard in Elgon View, a hired hall in the city centre, or at a local school field, we can make it work. We use mobile graffiti walls or large canvases. If the weather in Uasin Gishu County turns rainy, we can even set up indoors using special low-odour water-based paints upon request.

Do the children need to have any artistic skills beforehand?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our expert artists will guide the kids (and adults) through everything from holding the can to master-shading techniques. Most people are shocked by how good their 'tag' looks by the end of the session. It’s all about building confidence and having a blast while learning a new skill.

How long does the graffiti session typically last?

A standard communion party workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, and plenty of hands-on spraying time. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for keeping children engaged and excited without them getting tired before the party food is served!

What materials do we need to provide for the workshop?

We provide everything you need! This includes a wide variety of colourful spray cans, protective clothing (ponchos/overalls), gloves, masks, and the "canvas" (either a plastic-wrapped wall or individual boards). You just need to provide the excited guests and a space for us to set up. We even handle the clean-up of our materials afterwards.

Can the kids take their artwork home after the party?

Yes! One of the coolest parts of our Eldoret workshops is that the group gets to create a large masterpiece together. Many families choose to have the kids paint a large 'Communion' themed mural or the child’s name. This can be done on a canvas that you can keep as a unique souvenir of the special day. It’s a literal piece of art to remember the milestone.

How do I book and do I need to pay a deposit?

Booking is easy and stress-free. You don't need to pay anything upfront! Simply reach out to us with your date and estimated group size. We’ll confirm our availability and lock you in. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We also have backup artists ready to go, so we never cancel on you.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your communion celebration in Eldoret? Aside from being the coolest parent on the block, there are some pretty "ace" benefits to getting messy with paint:

🔥 Unique memories: It’s a total break from the "standard" party routine. People will be talking about this for years!
🎨 Sparks creativity: It teaches kids that art isn't just about paper and pencils—it can be huge, colourful, and bold.
💪 Confidence booster: Seeing a finished mural that they helped create gives kids a massive sense of achievement.
🤝 Team building: Working on one large piece helps cousins and friends bond through collaboration.
📸 Amazing photos: The vibrant colours of the graffiti provide the most incredible backdrop for your party photos.
🛡️ Hassle-free: We bring everything and handle the mess, so you can focus on the celebration.

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us with your party date in Eldoret and the number of guests you're expecting.
Design brainstorming: We chat about the vibe! Usually, for a communion, we pick a central theme or the name of the celebrant to be the "masterpiece" focus.
Setup on site: Our team arrives early at your venue to set up the mobile graffiti walls and lay down protective floor covering.
Safety briefing: We get everyone suited up in their protective gear and explain the "golden rules" of spray painting.
Artist demonstration: Our pro artist shows off some moves, teaching the kids about flares, drips, and outlines.
Practice session: Everyone gets their own space to test the cans and get a feel for the pressure and flow of the paint.
Creating the mural: The main event! The group works together to fill in the large-scale artwork, adding their personal flair.
Fine-tuning: Our artist adds those professional finishing touches to make the artwork really "pop" for the photos.
Group photo & cleanup: We take a massive group photo in front of the art, and then we pack everything away, leaving the place spotless.

Local culture

Eldoret, known as the "City of Champions," is famous for its incredible athletes, but there is a growing creative pulse in Uasin Gishu County that we love to tap into. The local youth culture is vibrant and increasingly art-focused. Bringing a graffiti workshop here feels like a natural fit for a city that is always on the move and full of energy. From the busy markets to the serene hills surrounding the town, Eldoret is a place where tradition meets modern ambition—exactly like our workshops!

Fun Fact: Did you know that Eldoret is one of the fastest-growing urban centres in Kenya? As the city expands, so does its appreciation for public art and creative expression, making it the perfect backdrop for a street art celebration! 🏃‍♂️✨

Pricing

Every communion party is unique! Prices depend on the group size, the location in Eldoret, and the specific setup you're looking for. We don't believe in "one size fits all" pricing, so we provide custom quotes to make sure you get the best value for your celebration. 💰

The best part? No upfront payment is required! You pay only after the workshop is done and the kids are beaming with pride. 🏆
