Do I need to have any prior art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our Eldoret workshops are designed for everyone, from people who can't draw a stick figure to seasoned hobbyists. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and shapes. You'll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the techniques. The focus is entirely on having fun and expressing yourself in a supportive, creative environment. We provide all the tools you need to succeed.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for beginners?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paint in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large indoor spaces with proper airflow. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring that everyone knows how to handle the equipment responsibly while having a blast.

What should I wear to the graffiti session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'artistic character' on. While we provide protective overalls and gear, spray paint can be unpredictable! Closed-toe shoes are a must for safety. Since Eldoret can have a bit of a breeze or sudden afternoon showers, bringing a light jacket or an extra layer is always a smart move for our outdoor sessions.

How long does the workshop usually last?

A standard public art workshop in Eldoret typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of your masterpiece. If you are planning a larger community project or a more intensive brand activation, we can certainly extend the duration to fit your specific needs and goals.

Are all the materials included in the price?

Yes, we provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray cans in a wide variety of vibrant colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear, and the surfaces we'll be painting on. Whether we are working on large canvases, temporary walls, or a designated public space, you won't need to bring any supplies of your own. Just bring your energy and your imagination!

Where in Eldoret do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops at various partner locations across Eldoret, or we can come to a venue of your choice, such as a school, office courtyard, or private event space. We just need a well-ventilated area and permission to create. If you're looking for other locations in Kenya, we also operate in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu, bringing the street art vibe wherever you are.

How do I book and what are the payment terms?

Booking is easy and stress-free. You can request a quote through our website based on your group size. The best part? There is no upfront payment required! You only pay after the workshop is completed and you're satisfied with the experience. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about last-minute cancellations. It's all about making your creative journey as smooth as possible.

Introduction & safety: We start with a warm welcome and a quick safety brief. You'll get suited up in your protective gear so you can paint without worry.
The basics of b-boying (with a can): Our pro artists show you how to hold the spray can, how to control the pressure, and how to swap caps for different line widths.
Sketching your vision: Before hitting the wall, you'll sketch out your ideas on paper. Our mentors will help you refine your design and plan your colour palette.
Can control practice: You'll start by practicing basic shapes, lines, and dots on a practice surface to get a feel for the paint flow and distance.
Filling and fading: Learn the secrets of 'filling in' areas smoothly and creating those iconic graffiti gradients and fades that make art pop.
Outlining & detailing: This is where the magic happens! You'll add sharp outlines and highlights to make your artwork stand out and look professional.
The finishing touches: Add "bits and pieces" like bubbles, stars, or drips to give your piece that authentic street art flavour.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Eldoret is famous for its world-class athletes, but there is a new kind of energy sprinting through the streets: the rise of a bold, local art scene. In a city known for its resilience and speed, graffiti offers a way to slow down and express the soul of the community. From the bustling markers near Zion Mall to the quiet creative corners of the University areas, Eldoret is the perfect canvas for public art that tells a story. 🏆

Fun Fact: Did you know that the name 'Eldoret' comes from the Maasai word 'eldore', meaning "stony river"? Just like the river carves its path through the landscape, our graffiti workshops allow you to carve your own artistic path in this historic Rift Valley hub! ✨

Participating in a workshop here means joining a growing movement of Kenyan creatives who are redefining what public space looks like in cities like Eldoret, Nairobi, and Nakuru.
