Do I need any prior art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most of our participants in Eldoret have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, including safety and nozzle control, before moving on to techniques like fading and outlining. We provide a supportive, high-energy environment where everyone feels like a pro by the end of the session. It's all about having fun and expressing yourself!

Is the workshop safe for everyone?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. Our spray paints are selected for their quality and we always ensure the workshop is held in a well-ventilated area within Eldoret. Our lead artists monitor the group throughout to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly and safely.

What should I wear and bring with me?

Ideally, wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on—just in case! While we provide full-body protective gear, graffiti can be a messy business when you're truly getting into the zone. We provide everything else: the wall or canvas, a huge variety of spray colours, caps, and expert tuition. Just bring your energy!

How long does the graffiti experience last?

A standard workshop for a cultural event in Eldoret typically lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of a collaborative masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule for your event, we can easily adapt the timing to fit your needs perfectly.

Can we choose a specific theme for our workshop?

Yes, we love making events special! While we usually have a planned curriculum to ensure you learn the best skills, we can certainly focus on specific themes, colours, or even incorporate a particular message or logo if it fits your cultural event. Whether it's celebrating Eldoret’s athletic heritage or a specific community milestone, just let us know your vision during the booking process.

What is the maximum group size you can accommodate?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops for small groups of 10 or large-scale cultural festivals with hundreds of participants. For very large groups in Eldoret, we bring in additional backup artists to ensure everyone gets personal attention and plenty of time with the spray cans. No matter the size of your crowd, we make sure the vibes stay high.

How does the payment process work?

We believe in a stress-free booking experience. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date in Eldoret. We provide a clear quote, and payment is only handled after the workshop has been successfully completed and you’re 100% satisfied with the experience. This keeps things simple and ensures we are always motivated to deliver the best possible event for you.

Local culture

Eldoret is world-famous for its incredible athletes, but there is a rising tide of urban art and creative energy flowing through its streets. From the bustling corridors of the CBD to the vibrant residential areas, Eldoret’s youth are finding new ways to express the local identity. Our workshops tap into this 'Chepukube' spirit, blending the discipline of the city's sporting heritage with the wild freedom of street art.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the name 'Eldoret' is derived from the Maasai word 'Eldore', meaning 'stony river'? Just as the river carves its path, we help you carve your creative mark on the city's cultural landscape. Whether we are setting up near the iconic 64 Stadium or at a private community space, the energy of Eldoret is the perfect backdrop for a graffiti revolution. 🇰🇪
