Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers and children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality masks, gloves, and overalls. Our professional artists are trained to supervise youth groups, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and responsibly. We only use high-grade paints in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large indoor spaces to ensure a healthy and secure environment for every single participant.

How long does a typical youth graffiti session last?

Our youth project workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of street art, practice basic techniques on plastic wrap or practice walls, and then complete a final masterpiece. We can also adjust the timing to fit into a specific school schedule or youth club programme if needed—just let us know your requirements!

Where do the workshops take place in Eldoret?

We are fully mobile! Our team can bring the entire graffiti experience to your location in Eldoret, whether that is a school field, a community centre car park, or a local park. If you don't have a suitable space, we can help scout a legal 'Hall of Fame' or a private venue where the group can paint safely and legally.

Do the participants need to have previous artistic skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels. We start with the absolute basics—how to hold the can, how to control pressure, and how to create clean lines. Our goal is to boost the confidence of every young person involved, showing them that with a little guidance, they can create something truly impressive regardless of their previous art experience.

What is your payment policy for youth projects?

We believe in total flexibility. You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book your session. We want you to feel confident in our service, so you simply pay after the workshop is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we provided to your youth group before any money changes hands.

What materials are included in the workshop?

Everything is included in the package! We provide professional-grade spray paint in a huge variety of colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective clothing, and the surfaces to paint on. We can paint on large canvases that the youth centre can keep, or we can set up temporary 'cellograffiti' walls. You just need to bring your enthusiasm!

The experience

Boosts Self-Esteem: Seeing a giant, colourful mural they created is a massive confidence builder for any teen. 💪
Team Spirit: Our collaborative murals require communication and cooperation to get the design just right.
Positive Expression: We redirect "vandalism" energy into a constructive, legal, and professional art form.
Skill Development: Participants learn about colour theory, scaling designs, and can control techniques.
No Cancellations: With our pool of backup artists, your event in Eldoret is guaranteed to happen! 🏆

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: We kick things off with a high-energy intro about the history of street art and how it became a global phenomenon. ✨
First sketches: Participants grab markers and paper to brainstorm their ideas and learn about letter structures and "tags".
Safety briefing: Our pros explain how to use the gear, from putting on the masks to handling the high-pressure cans safely.
Technique practice: The youth start by spraying on practice surfaces, learning how to make thin lines, fat drips, and smooth gradients. 🎨
Outline & fill: Once they've got the hang of it, they begin their main piece, filling in their bold designs with vibrant colours.
The "Powerline": We teach them how to add a sharp outline and highlights to make their artwork pop off the surface!
Collaborative mural: In many youth projects, we bring everyone together to create one massive, unified masterpiece.
Final reveal & photos: We celebrate the hard work with a group photo session—perfect for sharing the results on social media! 📸
Clean-up: We ensure the site is left tidy, leaving nothing behind but the incredible new artwork.

Local culture

Eldoret, famously known as the "City of Champions," is a place where discipline and passion go hand in hand. While the city is world-renowned for its incredible athletes, there is a growing, vibrant urban culture emerging in the streets of Uasin Gishu. From the bustling activity around Zion Mall to the creative energy in the residential estates, young people here are looking for new ways to tell their stories. Our workshops tap into this local pride, encouraging youth to swap their running shoes for spray cans—at least for an afternoon!

Fun Fact: Did you know that the word "Graffiti" comes from the Italian word "graffiato," meaning "scratched"? While the origins are ancient, in Eldoret, we keep it modern, fresh, and totally positive! 🇰🇪
