Do I need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our showroom experience in Eldoret is designed for everyone, from total beginners who have never held a spray can to seasoned creatives looking for a new medium. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, teaching you basic techniques, can control, and safety. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It's all about having fun and expressing yourself!

What should I wear to the graffiti showroom session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide high-quality protective gear, including ponchos and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy! It's best to leave your favourite designer gear at home and opt for something practical. Closed-toe shoes are also a must for safety and comfort while you move around your canvas or display area.

Is the spray paint safe to use indoors?

We take safety very seriously. We provide all necessary protective equipment, including gloves and masks if requested. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas within the showroom to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Our spray paints are high-quality, and our instructors provide a full safety briefing before anyone starts spraying. We ensure a controlled environment so you can focus entirely on your creative process without any worries.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

The typical showroom experience lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief introduction to graffiti history, a demonstration of techniques, and plenty of hands-on time for you to create your art. We find this timeframe is perfect for keeping the energy high without getting too tired. If you have a specific schedule or a larger corporate group, we can customise the duration to fit your needs.

Can I take my artwork home with me afterwards?

Yes! One of the best parts of the Graffitifun experience is that you get to take your creation home. If you're working on individual canvases provided during the workshop, those are yours to keep. They make for a fantastic, personalised memory of your time in Eldoret. For larger collaborative pieces or retail displays, we can discuss options for transport or professional finishing if you'd like to display them permanently.

How do I book and when do I need to pay?

Booking is easy and flexible! Since prices depend on your specific group size and the setup you want in the Eldoret showroom, we recommend requesting a personalized quote through our website. The best part? You don't have to pay anything upfront. We believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. It's completely risk-free!

What is the minimum or maximum group size?

Our showroom experiences are highly versatile! We cater to small groups of friends, family outings, and larger corporate teams or retail events. Whether you are a group of 5 or a larger crowd of 30+, we can scale the experience to ensure everyone gets hands-on time and personal guidance from our artists. For very large groups, we simply bring in additional backup artists to keep the quality and fun levels high.

Step by step

The warm welcome: Arrive at our Eldoret venue where our friendly graffiti pro will greet you and introduce the world of street art.
Safety first: Get geared up with protective clothing and gloves. We’ll walk you through the essential safety rules for using spray cans indoors.
Master the tools: Learn about different nozzles (caps) and how they change your line thickness. It’s all about the flick of the wrist!
Sketch your soul: Use markers or light spray to outline your design on the canvas or showroom wall. Don't worry, we'll help you refine it.
Fill and flow: Start adding vibrant colours! Our artists will show you how to blend gradients and create smooth fills.
The final edge: Learn the 'cut-in' technique to sharpen your outlines and make your artwork pop against the background.
Add the details: Finish off with highlights, 'shines', and maybe some cool paint drips for that authentic urban aesthetic.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Eldoret might be world-famous for its legendary long-distance runners, but there is a new kind of pace gathering steam in town: the fast-moving world of contemporary African street art. As the city grows into a major commercial hub, the urban landscape is changing, and we are right at the forefront of that creative evolution. Our showroom experience reflects the dual nature of Eldoret—respecting the deep-rooted traditions while embracing a modern, global vibe. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that the name 'Eldoret' comes from the Maasai word 'Eldore', meaning 'stony river'? Just like the river, the city's creative scene is constantly flowing and carving out new paths. Whether you're a local or visiting from Nairobi or Kisumu, our showroom offers a unique perspective on Kenyan urban culture that you won't find on a running track!
