Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners who have never held a spray can to seasoned art students. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and safety before moving on to more complex techniques. You will be amazed at what you can create in just a couple of hours with the right guidance. It is all about having fun and expressing your personality!

How long does a typical workshop session last?

Standard university workshops usually last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of your masterpiece. If you are planning a larger-scale campus event or a multi-day festival, we can adjust the timing to fit your schedule. We are flexible and can run multiple sessions back-to-back to accommodate more students.

What materials are included in the package?

We cover everything! We provide high-quality spray cans in a huge range of colours, caps for different line widths, protective overalls, gloves, and high-standard respiratory masks. We also bring the canvases or mobile graffiti walls unless we are working on a pre-approved permanent site. You just need to show up in clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty and bring plenty of energy!

Is it safe to use spray paint on campus?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide professional-grade FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure no one breathes in fumes, along with gloves and protective suits. Our workshops are ideally held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large open halls. Our instructors are highly experienced in managing groups and ensuring that the spray paint is used responsibly and safely at all times throughout the event.

Where on campus does the workshop usually take place?

We can set up almost anywhere in Eldoret! We often work on university greens, sports fields, or in large parking areas. If the weather is looking unpredictable, we can move under a large marquee or into a well-ventilated indoor space. We use mobile plastic-wrapped walls or wooden boards, so we leave the campus exactly as we found it—unless you've commissioned us to leave a permanent piece of art behind!

What is the maximum group size you can accommodate?

We are very flexible with group sizes. We can host small, intimate sessions for specific student societies (10-20 people) or large-scale 'walk-in' style events for hundreds of students during freshers' weeks or campus festivals. For very large groups, we bring in extra backup artists to ensure everyone gets enough individual attention and a chance to paint. No group is too big or too small!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next university event? It’s more than just painting; it's about building community, expressing identity, and having a blast. Here’s why it works so well in the City of Champions:

Total Stress Relief: Swap the exam pressure for a spray can and feel the instant "flow state" of creating art. 🧠
Inclusivity Guaranteed: You don't need to be an "artist" to participate—our techniques make it easy for anyone to create something cool.
Instagram Gold: Your campus event will be the talk of social media with vibrant colours and epic group shots. 📸
Unique Team Building: Perfect for student leaders and campus clubs to bond over a shared masterpiece.
Zero Hassle: We bring everything to your Eldoret location and take care of the entire setup and cleanup.
Pay Later: Peace of mind for student budgets—no upfront payment required; you pay only after the fun is done! 💰

Step by step

The introduction: We start with a high-energy intro, meeting your crew and chatting about the history and culture of street art.
Safe spraying: Your artist demonstrates how to use the gear properly, focusing on safety masks and can control.
Mastering the lines: You'll start on your own practice space, learning how to make thin lines, fat drips, and solid fills.
Sketching the vision: Grab the markers and sketch out your design on the board—this is where your individual style starts to shine.
Layering colours: Learn the secret of 'cutting in' and layering different shades to make your graffiti pop off the wall.
The final outline: Add those sharp black outlines and white highlights that give street art its iconic, professional look.
Group photo op: We finish with a massive group photo in front of your finished masterpiece—perfect for the 'gram!
Clean up: We pack up all the gear and ensure the campus area is spotless, leaving only the memories (and maybe the canvases) behind.
