Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our Eldoret onboarding workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our expert artists will guide you through everything from holding a spray can correctly to mastering advanced shading techniques. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It's all about letting loose, having fun, and discovering a creative side you might not have known existed.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to get creative! This includes high-quality spray paint in a huge variety of colours, protective masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or boards you'll be painting on. Just bring your enthusiasm and wear some comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of dust on.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard onboarding graffiti session in Eldoret typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a safety demonstration, technique practice, and the final creation of your own artwork. If you have specific time constraints, we can often tailor the schedule to fit your group's needs perfectly.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We are very flexible with group sizes! Whether you are a small team of 10 or a large corporate group of over 100, we can accommodate you. For very large groups, we bring in additional professional artists and set up multiple "spray zones" to ensure everyone gets plenty of hands-on time and personal guidance from our experts.

Is it safe to use spray paint indoors?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour, high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary PPE, including FFP2 or FFP3 grade masks and gloves. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially prepared indoor spaces. Our artists are also trained in site safety to ensure a workspace that is as secure as it is creative.

What should I wear to the workshop?

While we provide protective overalls, we always recommend wearing "paint-friendly" clothing. Spray paint is permanent, and while the overalls cover most of your outfit, an accidental splash on your favourite designer trainers is always a possibility. Think comfy, casual, and ready to get a little bit messy in the name of great art!

How does the 'pay after' system work?

One of our unique benefits is that you don't have to pay anything upfront. You can book your date and confirm your workshop, and the payment is only settled after the event has taken place and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. This keeps things simple and stress-free for your planning team.

Local culture

Known globally as the "City of Champions" for its incredible athletes, Eldoret has a heartbeat defined by endurance and excellence. Lately, that energy isn't just on the running tracks; it's spilling over into the city's burgeoning urban culture. From the bustling streets near Rupa’s Mall to the creative pockets found in the outskirts, there is a growing appreciation for visual storytelling.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the word "Eldoret" is derived from the Maasai word 'Eldore', meaning 'stony river'? Just as the river carves its path, we help you carve your own artistic path through the city's modern landscape. By combining the local grit and determination with the flow of street art, our workshops create a truly unique Kenyan creative experience. 🇰🇪🔥
