Why choose a graffiti networking event in Dortmund?

Dortmund is a hub for industrial culture, and street art is a huge part of its DNA. Our networking events allow professionals to break away from the usual 'suit and tie' atmosphere. By engaging in a hands-on graffiti workshop, guests build more authentic connections than they would over a standard coffee. It’s about sharing an experience, not just a business card, making it the most memorable networking format in North Rhine-Westphalia. Plus, we handle everything from site prep to cleanup!

Do we need any prior artistic experience?

Absolutely not! Our professional artists guide you through every step, from holding the spray can to advanced fading techniques. Whether you’re a natural-born Picasso or haven’t touched a brush since primary school, you’ll be amazed at what you can create. The focus is on the collaborative process and the fun of trying something new together. Most participants have never sprayed before, which makes the shared learning experience even better for networking!

What should our guests wear to the event?

We provide high-quality protective gear, including professional overalls, gloves, and masks. However, we always recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny speck of paint on—just in case! Since we're in Dortmund, we have both indoor and outdoor options. If the weather looks like typical German rain, we can easily shift to a covered location so your networking event stays dry and vibrant.

How long does a typical networking workshop last?

A standard creative networking session usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This provides enough time for a warm-up, a crash course in graffiti techniques, the actual painting process, and plenty of time to chat and network. We can customise the duration to fit your schedule, whether you want a quick icebreaker before a dinner or a full afternoon of creative collaboration and brand building.

What is included in the package?

We provide everything: premium spray cans in every colour imaginable, protective gear, canvases or wall space, and expert instruction. We also bring professional lighting if needed and can help arrange music to set the vibe. You just need to bring your team and your enthusiasm! If you want to take your artwork home, we can provide canvases; otherwise, we can create a large collaborative mural that serves as a temporary masterpiece for your event.

Do you offer any digital tools to help plan the event?

Yes, we do! One of our unique tools is the Online Tag Creator, where your guests can practice their 'tag' digitally before the event. We also offer a Workshop Quiz to help you determine which specific street art style fits your group's personality best. For event planners, our Cost Calculator provides an instant estimate so you can manage your budget effectively without waiting days for a quote.

What is the maximum group size for a Dortmund event?

Our events are highly flexible. We can accommodate small executive teams of 10 or large corporate gatherings of over 100 people. For larger groups, we bring in 'backup artists' to ensure everyone gets enough individual attention and the networking flow stays smooth. No matter the size of your Dortmund business community, we have the logistics and the spray paint to make it a massive success!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti-themed networking event in the heart of the Ruhr? It's simple: traditional networking is broken. Real bonds are formed when people do things together. Here is why our Dortmund events stand out:

Instant icebreaker: Nothing kills social anxiety faster than a spray can and a blank wall! 🎤
Dortmund grit: Embrace the city's local culture by engaging with an art form that mirrors its industrial transformation. 🏗️
Level the playing field: In a graffiti suit, there are no job titles—just artists working together. 🏆
Memorable outcomes: Your guests won't just remember a conversation; they'll remember the mural they helped build. 🖼️
Total flexibility: We can come to your office, a local Dortmund venue, or one of our secret street art spots. 📍
No-risk planning: With our 'pay after' policy and backup artists, your event is guaranteed to go off without a hitch! 💪

Step by step

The warm welcome: We kick things off with a quick introduction to the world of street art and the plan for the day while everyone grabs a drink.
Guided brainstorming: Our artists lead a short session to define your 'crew's' vision—think about themes, company values, or just cool Dortmund vibes.
Safety and technique: We suit everyone up in protective gear and demonstrate the basic 'can control' techniques, from thin lines to fat caps.
First sketches: Participants start by sketching their ideas on the canvas or wall using light colours to map out the masterpiece.
The filling phase: This is where the networking really heats up! Guests work side-by-side, filling in the colours and chatting naturally while they spray.
The outline and highlights: Our pros show you how to add those sharp outlines and 'shines' that make the artwork pop and look professional.
The secret sauce: We add final details, stencils, or splatters to give the collaborative piece a polished, gallery-ready finish.
The big reveal & photos: We wrap up with a group photo in front of your creation—the ultimate proof of your team's creative networking success!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Dortmund is a city that knows how to reinvent itself. From its industrial roots in coal and steel to becoming a tech and creative hub, the 'Westphalian Metropolis' is the perfect backdrop for a graffiti networking event. The city is home to incredible urban art spots, from the vibrant murals in the Union Quarter to the street art surrounding the iconic Dortmunder U. There’s an energy here that celebrates raw creativity and hard work.

Fun fact: Dortmund is home to the 'Bunte Gasse', or Colourful Alley, where street artists have turned ordinary walls into a living gallery. We bring that same Ruhr-area passion to every workshop we host! 🏗️🎨
