Do we need any previous art or drawing skills?

No prior artistic experience is needed at all! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at guiding beginners through the process. We start with the basics of can control and safety, ensuring everyone feels confident before they touch the wall. It’s about team bonding and having a blast, not creating a museum masterpiece—though you’ll be surprised at how great the final result looks!

What materials are included in the workshop?

We take care of everything. We provide high-quality spray paint in a huge range of colours, protective suits, gloves, and masks to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the 'canvas'—whether that’s a professional mobile wall or a permanent location. Just show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty, and we’ll handle the rest.

Is the spray paint safe to use for everyone?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide FFP2 or FFP3 grade masks and nitrile gloves for all participants. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoors to ensure high air quality. Our artists give a comprehensive safety briefing before the cans are shaken, covering everything from spray distance to proper nozzle handling to ensure a fun, hazard-free environment for your team.

What happens if the instructor is sick? Is there a backup?

Absolutely! We are one of the few providers that offers a 100% 'No-Go, No-Pay' policy. We have a deep roster of backup artists in the Dortmund and Ruhr area. If your assigned artist falls ill or has an emergency, we have a network of professionals ready to step in. Your corporate event is a big deal, and we guarantee we won't let you down.

What if it rains on the day of our workshop?

Dortmund weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered. For outdoor sessions, we can often arrange Marquee tents or move to a sheltered 'Hall of Fame' location. Alternatively, we can host the event at an indoor venue using low-odour water-based paints or focus on canvas-based work. We always discuss a 'Plan B' with you during the booking process so your team building stays on track.

How many people can participate in a single session?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you have a small startup team of 10 or a large department of 150, we can scale the experience. For larger groups, we bring in multiple artists and set up several workstations so everyone stays active and engaged. We can even facilitate a 'mural competition' where different teams work on sections of a larger communal piece of art.

The experience

Why choose graffiti for your next team event in Dortmund? Because nothing breaks down hierarchies and encourages fresh thinking like a blank wall and a can of paint! Our sessions are designed to pull people out of their comfort zones and into a world of shared expression. 🚀

Break the ice: Graffiti is a great equaliser—everyone starts as a beginner, fostering a supportive environment.
Visualise your values: Turn your company mission into a tangible, colourful mural you can actually see and touch.
Boost morale: There is a unique psychological high that comes from creating something large-scale and permanent.
Strategic collaboration: Planning a mural requires negotiation, timing, and effective division of tasks.
Totally unique: Move away from standard bowling or dinners and give your team a memory they’ll talk about for years.
Professional & Stress-free: We handle everything from the site permit to the clean-up, letting you focus on the fun.

Adding details: Highlights, shadows, and 'second outlines' are added to make the artwork pop and look 3D.

Local culture

Dortmund is a city that has reinvented itself from a coal and steel giant into a thriving hub of technology and culture. This 'transformation' is exactly what we bring to our workshops. The city is home to incredible urban art, from the massive murals in the Rheinische Straße to the hidden gems in the Kreuzviertel. By choosing a graffiti workshop here, you’re tapping into the gritty, honest, and innovative spirit of the Ruhrpott. ⚒️

Fun Fact: Did you know Dortmund is home to the 'U-Tower', a former brewery that now serves as a centre for art and creativity? It’s a literal beacon of Dortmund's artistic evolution!

Whether you're visiting from nearby Cologne, Munich, Hamburg, or Berlin, or you're a local Dortmund business, we celebrate the city's unique industrial aesthetic. We can even incorporate local symbols like the BVB colours or the skyline into your team's design to give it that authentic Westphalian touch! ✨
