Can you perform live painting indoors at a Dortmund venue?

Absolutely! We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and acrylic markers, and we can set up air purification or work in well-ventilated areas. If your Dortmund venue has strict rules, we can also explore 'clean graffiti' or digital options. We'll always coordinate with the venue manager beforehand to ensure everything is safe and compliant with local fire and safety regulations.

What kind of surfaces can you paint on?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether it’s a large-scale mural on a temporary wooden wall, a canvas that you can later hang in your office, or even painting on products like sneakers or DJ booths, we can make it happen. Most Dortmund events opt for a 2x3 metre mobile wall, which provides a great visual impact without taking up too much floor space.

How long does a live painting session usually take?

Usually, a standard liver performance lasts between 2 to 4 hours, aligned with your event's peak times. However, for large-scale murals in Dortmund, we can extend this to a full-day or multi-day residency. We’ll work with your schedule to ensure the 'big reveal' happens exactly when you want it to, keeping the energy high throughout the process.

Can our guests participate in the painting?

Yes! One of the coolest things about our Dortmund live painting service is the 'co-creation' aspect. We can design the piece so that your guests can add their own small tags or splashes of colour under the guidance of our professional artists. It’s a fantastic way to make people feel part of the brand story or the celebration.

Does live painting make a mess?

Not at all! We take cleanliness very seriously. We use high-quality drop cloths, protective floor coverings, and masking tape to ensure that the only thing getting painted is the artwork. Our artists are experienced professionals who know how to control overspray, leaving your Dortmund event space exactly as we found it—except for the stunning new art!

What happens if it rains during an outdoor event?

Dortmund weather can be unpredictable! For outdoor events, we recommend having a tent or a 'Plan B' indoor space. Our artists can work under a gazebo if there's light rain. If the weather is truly severe, our flexible booking policy and backup artist pool mean we can usually find a solution to reschedule or adapt the format so your event isn't ruined.

Local culture

Dortmund is a city that wears its heart on its sleeve—and its art on its walls. From the iconic industrial backdrop of the Dortmunder U to the hidden street art gems in the Unionviertel, this city lives and breathes urban creativity. We draw inspiration from Dortmund's 'Ruhrpott' grit and its modern technological transformation, bringing that unique local energy to every stroke of the spray can. 🎨

Fun Fact: Dortmund is home to some of the most impressive large-scale murals in the Ruhr region, often celebrating the city's deep connection to football and its industrial heritage!
