What is the minimum and maximum group size for a workshop?

For our indoor party workshops in Dessie, we recommend a minimum of 5 participants to get the energy flowing, but we can host large groups of up to 100 or more! Whether it is a small circle of friends or a massive corporate team-building event, we scale our artist team and materials to ensure everyone gets hands-on time with the spray cans and personal guidance from our pros.

Is the indoor graffiti workshop safe and messy?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odor, high-quality spray paints and provide all participants with protective gloves, masks, and overalls. When working indoors in Dessie, we ensure the space has adequate ventilation or use specialized indoor-safe techniques. Our professional artists are trained to manage the equipment safely Burj-style, making this a worry-free experience for all ages and skill levels.

Do I need any previous art experience to participate?

Not at all! Most of our guests in Dessie have never touched a spray can before. Our workshops are designed to take you from 'zero to hero' in just a couple of hours. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to complex filling techniques and shadowing. You will be amazed at the masterpiece you can create with just a little bit of expert guidance.

How long does a typical indoor session last?

A standard indoor party workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes the introduction, safety briefing, practice session, and the final creation of your masterpiece. We find this is the perfect 'sweet spot' to keep the energy high and the creativity flowing without anyone getting tired. If you have a specific schedule to meet, we can always customize the duration for you.

Where in Dessie do the workshops take place?

We bring the party to you! We can host the workshop at your office, a rented event hall, or even a large private indoor space in Dessie. If you don't have a venue, let us know! We have a network of partner locations and can help you find the perfect 'urban' spot that fits the vibe of a graffiti session while keeping things comfortable and climate-controlled.

Can we keep the artwork we create during the party?

One of the best parts of our indoor experience is the 'Take Home' factor. Depending on the package you choose, you can create your art on high-quality canvases or sturdy MDF boards. Once the paint is dry, they are yours to keep! They make for incredible office decor or a unique souvenir for your home, reminding you of the day you became a street artist.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

We understand that plans can change. One of the reasons Dessie residents love Graffitifun is our flexibility. We don't require upfront payments to book your date. You pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied. Plus, we have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation on our end!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Dessie, the 'Gateway to the North,' is a city known for its stunning mountain views and its resilient, creative spirit. While the city is famous for its history and bustling markets, the modern youth culture is increasingly embracing contemporary art forms. Bringing a graffiti workshop here adds a fresh, urban layer to the local social scene. It is about blending the traditional hospitality of the Wollo province with the global language of street art. ✨

Fun Fact: Dessie's name translates to "My Joy" in Amharic—and that is exactly the vibe we bring to every workshop! We aim to add a splash of color to the city's artistic landscape, one spray can at a time.

Our workshop pricing is flexible to fit your specific event needs, whether it is a small birthday bash or a major corporate gathering. We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees.
