Do I need to be an artist to participate in the workshop?

No prior talent is needed at all! Our Dessie onboarding workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through the basics of spray can control, lettering, and blending. You will be amazed at how quickly you can create something impressive under our guidance. It is all about the experience and having a great time with your team.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for everyone?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks, to ensure everyone stays clean and safe. We use professional-grade spray paints and conduct our sessions in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our instructors give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a worry-free creative environment for your entire group.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard onboarding workshop in Dessie typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes the introductory talk, practicing basic techniques, and the final group creation. We can also customize the duration to fit your company's schedule, whether you want a quick energy booster or a full-afternoon deep dive into the world of street art.

What is the ideal group size for an onboarding event?

We are extremely flexible! Whether you have a small startup team of 10 or a large corporate department of 100+, we can accommodate you. For very large groups, we bring in additional backup artists to ensure everyone gets personal attention and guidance. In Dessie, we can organize workshops at your location or a dedicated creative spot nearby.

What should we wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be messy. Think casual and practical! If the workshop is outdoors, please consider the weather in Dessie and bring a hat or a light jacket if needed.

Can we customize the graffiti to match our brand?

Absolutely! We love it when teams want to incorporate their brand. You can choose to paint your company logo, use your brand colors, or focus on a specific theme like "innovation" or "teamwork." Our artists will help you design a layout that reflects your company culture while still maintaining that cool, authentic street art aesthetic.

Step by step

Warm welcome: Our pro graffiti artists meet your team at the chosen Dessie location and kick things off with some high-energy inspiration. 🎨
The tag creator: Learn the history of graffiti and start brainstorming your own "street name" or team tag.
Can control 101: We teach you the secret techniques of the pros—distance, pressure, and how to avoid those pesky drips! ✨
Sketching the vision: Your team works together to sketch a rough draft of your masterpiece on the surface.
Filling and fading: This is the fun part! Start filling in your designs with vibrant colors and learn how to create smooth gradients. 🌈
The outline: Use high-pressure cans to add those sharp black outlines that make graffiti pop.
Final details: Add highlights, "glimmers," and backgrounds to give your artwork that professional finish.
The big reveal: Step back and admire the massive piece of art your team created together! 📸
