Alternatively, if you're looking for other ways to get creative, check out our kids' parties, school projects, or even 3D street art sessions!

How it works

  1. Intro & Street History: We kick things off with a cool look at graffiti culture and how it evolved from the streets to galleries.
  2. Safety First: Kids get suited up in pro gear, including masks and suits, and learn the 'golden rules' of spray can safety.
  3. Sketching the Vision: Before the paint flies, we grab markers and paper to plan out our tags and designs.
  4. The First Spray: Our artists show the group how to control the nozzle—learning about pressure, distance, and lines.
  5. Outline Practice: Students start mapping out their main design on the canvas or wall using light colours.
  6. Fill-in Fun: This is where the magic happens! We add vibrant colours and gradients to bring the letters to life.
  7. The 'Power-Line': We teach the kids how to add those sharp 3D effects and bold outlines that make graffiti 'pop'.
  8. Final Details: Adding highlights, sparkles, and little creative touches to make each piece unique.
  9. The Big Reveal: We finish with a group photo and a 'gallery walk' to admire everyone's hard work!

Frequently asked questions

Do the children need any previous drawing experience?

Our after-school sessions in Mercedes are designed specifically for young beginners! While it helps if they enjoy drawing, no formal art skills are required. Our professional artists break down the 'wildstyle' and 'bubble letter' techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on building confidence and having a blast, ensuring every student leaves with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of. It's all about the experience!

Is it safe for kids to use spray paint?

Safety is our absolute number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 respiratory masks, protective suits, and gloves to all participants. Our spray paints are selected for their quality and we always conduct workshops in well-ventilated outdoor spaces or large open areas. Our artists are trained to supervise the group closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly and stays safe while getting creative.

What should the students wear to the workshop?

We recommend that students wear 'old clothes' and comfortable trainers because, let’s be honest, graffiti can get a bit messy! Even though we provide full-body protective suits and gloves, sometimes a little 'creative splash' can find its way onto sleeves or shoes. It’s better to wear something you don't mind getting a little bit of colour on. We provide all the specialized gear!

How long does a typical after-school session last?

Most of our after-school graffiti experiences in Mercedes last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives the group plenty of time to learn the history of street art, practice their techniques on plastic film or practice walls, and finally complete their own masterpiece. We find this timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy levels high and focus sharp without the kids getting overtired.

Can the kids take their artwork home after the session?

Usually, students work together on a large collective mural or individual panels that they can take home! If we are working on a shared project for the school or community centre, the final piece can stay on-site as a permanent installation. If the kids make individual canvases or boards, they get to take their unique street art home the same day. It's a great souvenir!

Where do the workshops take place in Mercedes?

We can host after-school workshops at your school grounds, a local community centre, or one of our partner creative spots in Mercedes. As long as we have a well-ventilated outdoor space or a very large, open indoor area with high ceilings, we can make the magic happen. We are very flexible and can bring the entire mobile graffiti studio right to your doorstep!

How does the booking and payment process work?

We understand that school schedules and after-school budgets can be complex. That is why we offer a 'no upfront payment' policy. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and payment is only handled after the workshop has been successfully completed. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you никогда (never) have to worry about a last-minute cancellation.
