How it works

The warm welcome: Your group meets our professional graffiti artist at our Medan indoor venue. We’ll kick things off with a high-energy intro and a look at the history of street art.
Safety first: We suit everyone up in high-quality protective gear. Our masks, gloves, and suits ensure you stay clean while the art stays on the canvas.
Can control 101: Before hitting the big boards, we teach you the basics of 'can control'. Learn how to move your arm and adjust pressure to create different lines and effects.
Sketching the vision: Grab a marker or a light spray can to sketch your design. Whether it’s a classic tag, a character, or a wildstyle piece, we’ll help you map it out.
Fill-ins and fades: This is where the colour happens! Fill in your sketch and learn how to blend colours together for those iconic graffiti gradients.
The 'cut' (Outlining): Use a steady hand to outline your work. This makes your piece pop and gives it that professional, crisp street art look.
Highlights and details: Add those final touches—white highlights, 3D shadows, and 'second outlines' to make your artwork truly stand out.
The big reveal: We take a group photo with all the finished pieces before you pack them up to take home!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Our indoor party workshops in Medan are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional artist will guide you through every stage, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering complex layering techniques. Most of our guests have never touched a spray can before, and they always leave with a masterpiece they are proud of. We make sure the environment is relaxed and supportive so you can focus on having fun.

Is the indoor workshop messy or unsafe?

Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities. We provide high-quality protective gear, including professional coveralls, gloves, and masks. For our indoor sessions in Medan, we use low-odour, water-based spray paint where possible and ensure the venue has excellent ventilation. We also use floor and wall coverings to ensure the venue stays exactly as we found it, leaving only your canvas art behind!

Can we choose the indoor venue for the party?

While we can host these at various partner venues across Medan, we are also happy to come to your specific indoor location! As long as there is decent ventilation and enough space for your group size, we can transform almost any hall, office, or community space into a pop-up street art studio. If you don't have a space, just let us know and we will help you find the perfect Medan spot.

How long does the graffiti session last?

A standard indoor party workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief introduction to graffiti history, a practice session to get used to the cans, and then the main event: creating your own individual or group artwork. We can always adjust the timing to fit your specific event schedule if you have other activities planned.

What materials do we need to bring?

Everything is included in the price! We provide the spray cans, premium caps (nozzles), protective clothing, masks, gloves, and the canvases or boards you’ll be painting on. You don't need to bring a thing except your enthusiasm and maybe some comfortable shoes. We even bring the music to get the creative vibes flowing throughout the session!

How does the 'pay after' system work?

At Graffitifun, we believe in flexibility. You don't have to pay anything upfront when you book your Medan party. We want you to feel confident in our service, so you only pay after the workshop is complete. This takes the stress out of planning and ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any money changes hands.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

Our indoor party workshops are very flexible. We typically host groups from 10 people up to 100 or more in a rotating format. For very large groups in Medan, we bring in extra professional artists to ensure everyone gets plenty of personal attention and guidance. If you have a specific number in mind, just request a quote and we will tailer the setup for you.

Do we get to keep the artwork we create?

Yes! One of the best parts about our indoor workshops is that you usually paint on individual canvases or boards. This means once the paint is dry (which happens very quickly), you get to take your unique creation home to hang on your wall as a souvenir of the day. It’s much better than a standard party bag!
