Do we need prior art experience to enjoy the graffiti workshop?

Absolutely none! Our Palmerston North team specializes in teaching total beginners. We start with the basics of nozzle control and 'can-handling' before moving onto more complex techniques. By the end of the session, your team will be shocked at the high-quality mural they’ve created together. It's all about the process and having a laugh while learning a cool new skill.

How long does a typical company outing in Palmerston North last?

Standard workshops usually run for 2 or 3 hours, which is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy levels high without getting too tired. However, we can easily adapt the timing to fit your corporate schedule in Manawatū. Whether you want a quick 90-minute icebreaker or a full afternoon of creative immersion, we can make it happen to suit your itinerary.

Is the spray paint safe, and do you provide protective gear?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your team safe and their clothes paint-free. Since spray paint has fumes, we prioritize well-ventilated or outdoor locations. Our professional artists also give a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring everyone has a worry-free and fun experience.

Where in Palmerston North do the workshops take place?

We can host the workshop at various cool locations around Palmerston North, or we can bring the entire setup to your office carpark or a local park! If you have a specific venue in mind, just let us know. We use professional-grade mobile graffiti walls that can be set up almost anywhere, making it super convenient for your team.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor event?

Rain doesn't have to stop the fun! We have several indoor-friendly options and sheltered locations throughout the city. If the weather turns 'classic Kiwi' on us, we can move the session to a covered area or use low-odour water-based cans for indoor settings. We always have a backup plan ready so your team building event goes off without a hitch.

What is the minimum and maximum group size for a booking?

We are very flexible! We can accommodate small teams of 10 or large corporate groups of 100+. For larger groups, we bring in extra professional artists to ensure everyone gets hands-on guidance and plenty of 'can-time.' No matter the size of your Palmerston North business, we'll scale the experience to ensure everyone is fully engaged and creative.

How do we handle the booking and payment process?

Our booking process is designed to be stress-free for busy managers. You don't need to pay anything upfront; we handle the payment after the workshop is completed. Once you request a quote and we lock in the date and location, you can relax knowing our backup artist system ensures your event will never be cancelled. We'll handle all the logistics!

Local culture

Palmerston North has a sneaky-good street art scene that many locals walk right past every day. From the massive murals decorating the inner-city laneways to the creative pockets of the Manawatū, there’s a real appreciation for public art here. Our workshops tap into this local energy, giving your staff the chance to go from being spectators to creators. We love the laid-back yet innovative spirit of Palmy—it’s the perfect place to experiment with a spray can in hand.

Fun Fact: Did you know Palmerston North was once the site of the world's first 'international' street art festival in New Zealand? The city has a long history of embracing bold, colourful expressions on its urban canvases! 🇳🇿🔥
