Is the graffiti workshop safe for children attending a communion party?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority in Palmy. We use premium low-pressure spray cans that are easier for kids to control and provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits. Our professional artists supervise the entire session to ensure everyone stays safe while having a blast. It’s all the fun of street art without any of the risks!

Where in Palmerston North do the workshops take place?

We’re flexible! We can host the workshop at a dedicated outdoor spot in Palmerston North, or if you’ve hired a local hall or have a large backyard with good ventilation, we can bring the art studio to you. We use protective floor coverings to ensure the only thing getting painted is the canvas. Just let us know your venue plans!

Will the kids get paint on their party clothes?

Don't worry, we’ve got you covered! We provide full-body protective suits, gloves, and masks. While we recommend kids wear 'play clothes' and sneakers they don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, our gear does a fantastic job of keeping those nice communion outfits or party clothes clean and paint-free.

How long does the graffiti session usually last?

A standard communion celebration workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives the birthday star and their mates enough time to learn the basic techniques, practice their tags, and complete a final masterpiece on a canvas that they can take home as a unique souvenir of the day.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of participants?

For communion parties, we typically recommend a minimum group of 10 participants to get the best atmosphere, but we can cater to much larger groups too! Whether it's a small family gathering or a massive celebration with all the cousins and school friends, we can scale our team of artists to suit your needs perfectly.

Do the kids need any prior drawing or art skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our friendly professional artists walk the kids through every step, from how to hold the can to creating cool 3D effects. Most kids are shocked at how awesome their art looks by the end of the session. It’s all about building confidence and having fun!

What do the kids get to take home after the party?_

One of the best parts of our Palmerston North workshops is that every child gets to keep their canvas. It’s a literal piece of art they created themselves! It makes for the ultimate 'party bag' swap-out—instead of plastic toys, they go home with a custom piece of street art to hang on their bedroom wall.
