How long does a typical team building session last?

Our graffiti team building sessions in Palmerston North generally run for 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows your crew to get comfortable with the spray cans, learn the basic techniques, and collaborate on a massive final masterpiece. If you are on a tight schedule between meetings or want a full-day creative retreat, we can easily customise the duration to fit your team's specific needs and energy levels.

Can we do the graffiti workshop indoors if it rains?

Absolutely! While we love the fresh air and sunshine of the Manawatu, we have plenty of 'Plan B' indoor options. We use specialized low-odour water-based spray paint for indoor sessions, combined with high-quality floor and wall coverings to ensure the venue stays spotless. Whether it is a local hall, your office warehouse, or a hired studio, we make sure the creative vibes keep flowing regardless of the weather.

Is the paint safe and do we get messy?

Safety is our top priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including disposable coveralls, gloves, and professional-grade masks to ensure no one is inhaling fumes or ruining their office gear. Our lead artists are highly experienced in managing group safety and will give a full safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. You are in very safe, creative hands!

Do we need any previous art experience to participate?

Not at all! In fact, most people we host haven't touched a spray can since they were kids (or ever!). Our workshops are designed for all skill levels. Our professional street artists guide you through every step—from basic lines to advanced shading. You will be genuinely surprised at how incredible the final results look, even if your team thinks they don't have a creative bone in their bodies.

What is your payment physical policy for corporate groups?

We are all about flexibility. You don't need to pay a cent until the workshop is successfully completed. This gives you total peace of mind when booking your corporate event. We believe in our service so much that we want you to be 100% satisfied with the experience before we settle the bill. It makes the whole booking process stress-free for busy event planners.

What is the maximum group size you can handle?

We can accommodate groups of almost any size! Whether you are a small startup team of 10 or a large corporate division of 100+, we scale our artist team and materials to match. For very large groups, we often set up multiple 'graffiti stations' or have teams collaborate on different sections of a giant mural that comes together at the end. Everyone gets plenty of 'can time'!

Can we customise the artwork to match our company branding?

We love a challenge! If your team building event has a specific theme—like 'Innovation', 'Sustainable Future', or even just your company's core values—let us know. Our artists can pre-sketch a design that incorporates your logo or theme, which your team then brings to life with colour and texture. it is a fantastic way to reinforce company culture in a vibrant, visual way.

Why choose graffiti for your next team event in Palmerston North? Because it actually works! It levels the playing field, where the CEO and the intern are both facing the same blank wall. Here is why your team will love it:

✨ Boosts Creativity: Pushes people out of their comfort zones and into a "growth mindset."
🤝 Real Collaboration: You can't finish a 5-meter mural alone—it takes communication and teamwork!
🚀 Stress Relief: There is something seriously therapeutic about the 'hiss' of a spray can.
🏆 Tangible Results: Your team walks away with a physical masterpiece (and epic photos) to remember the day.
🎯 Zero Experience Needed: Our artists make sure everyone produces something they are proud of.
💎 Risk-Free Booking: No deposit required and a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Step by step

The warm-up: We start with a high-energy intro and a quick safety demo so everyone feels confident with the gear.
Mastering the can: Your team learns the 'bread and butter' of street art—finger pressure control, nozzle types, and different spray angles.
Individual practice: Everyone gets their own space to practice basic shapes, tags, and 'fills' to get the creative juices flowing.
The big reveal: Our artists unveil the master sketch (customised to your company or theme) on a massive canvas wall.
Dividing and conquering: The group is split into smaller teams, each responsible for a specific section of the mural.
Layering and detail: Under our guidance, you'll add 'highlights', 'shadows', and 'cut-lines' to make the piece pop.
The finishing touches: Our pro artists help tidy up the edges, ensuring the final result looks like a professional gallery piece.
The photoshoot: We wrap up with a massive team photo in front of your creation—perfect for the company newsletter or LinkedIn!
