Frequently asked questions

How long does a live painting performance usually last?

A live painting performance in Daugavpils typically lasts between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the scale of the artwork and your event's schedule. We can adapt the pace to match your itinerary, ensuring the 'big reveal' happens exactly when you want it. For larger festivals or multi-day corporate events, we can also arrange extended sessions or multiple artists to keep the energy high from start to finish.

Is it safe to have live painting indoors at a venue?

We prioritise safety and cleanliness above all else. Our artists use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and high-quality acrylics. We also set up heavy-duty floor protection and use mobile spray booths or partitions if necessary to ensure no overspray reaches your guests or the venue’s interior. Whether you are hosting an event at the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre or a local hotel, we leave the space exactly as we found it.

Can our guests participate in the painting?

Absolutely! This is one of our most popular options for weddings and corporate galas. The artist creates a professional base or outline, and then your guests are invited to add their own creative touches, splashes of colour, or signatures under expert guidance. It’s a fantastic icebreaker and ensures everyone feels like they are part of the artistic process. Plus, the final result is a true team effort you can keep forever.

What kind of designs can the artist create?

The beauty of live painting is its versatility! We can create everything from your company logo and brand values to abstract street art or a portrait of the guest of honour. Many clients in Daugavpils ask for designs that incorporate local landmarks or specific event themes. Before the event, we’ll discuss your vision and provide sketches to make sure the style matches your brand or party vibe perfectly.

Are materials included in the price?

We come fully prepared! Our package includes the artist’s time, all professional spray paints, markers, protective floor coverings, and the canvas or surface itself. We also bring safety gear like masks and gloves if guests are participating. The only things we usually need from you are a flat space to work, decent lighting, and—if indoors—a well-ventilated area. We handle the setup and the cleanup, so you can focus on your guests.

How much does a live painting session cost?

Our pricing is flexible and depends on the duration of the event, the complexity of the design, and the number of artists required. In Daugavpils, prices typically range between €18 and €38 per person for interactive setups, or a fixed performance fee for solo shows. Because every event is unique, we recommend using our online cost calculator or requesting a custom quote to get an accurate price tailored to your specific needs.

Do we get to keep the artwork after the event?

Yes, the finished artwork is yours to keep! Most of our live painting is done on high-quality stretched canvas or wooden panels that are easy to transport. Once the paint is dry, you can hang the piece in your office, or studio, or even auction it off for charity. It serves as a permanent, vibrant memory of your event in Daugavpils that will spark conversations for years to come.
