How it works

  1. Pick your date: Check your society calendar and reach out to us with your preferred date and group size.
  2. Design the concept: Tell us if you want a specific theme, such as your society logo, a social cause, or just total creative freedom.
  3. Gear up: On the day, we’ll meet at your Limerick location. Everyone gets suited up in protective gear and masks.
  4. Master the basics: Our pro artists show you the ropes—nozzle pressure, distance, and how to make a clean 'tag'.
  5. Sketch it out: We help the group outline the main design on the wall or canvas.
  6. Fill and fade: This is where the magic happens! You'll learn how to fill large areas and create smooth colour gradients.
  7. The finishing touches: Add highlights, 3D effects, and sharp outlines to make the artwork pop.
  8. Group photo: Snap some shots of the finished masterpiece for your society’s Instagram!
  9. Clean up: We handle all the pack-down and recycling of the cans, leaving the space exactly as we found it.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most university students in Limerick haven't touched a spray can before. Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our professional artists lead you through everything from basic nozzle control to advanced layering techniques. By the time we finish, you'll be amazed at the professional-looking mural the group has created together. It’s all about having a laugh and trying something new!

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to get creative! This includes high-quality spray paint in a massive range of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and respiratory masks for safety. We also provide the 'canvas'—whether that’s a temporary wall, boards, or individual canvases. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on.

Is the workshop safe for students?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide FFP3-rated masks and protective gear for every participant. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas, and our instructors are pros who know exactly how to manage a group safely. We follow all local health and safety regulations to ensure the only thing you're worrying about is which colour to use next!

Can you host the workshop on our university campus?

Flexibility is key for student societies! While we have a few preferred spots around Limerick, we are fully mobile. We can come directly to your campus if there is a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area available. If not, we can help arrange a local spot near the city centre or University Hill to host the session.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, some practice runs on the 'tag-wall', and then the main event where the group works on a large-scale project. We can always adjust the duration to fit into a specific society meeting or event schedule if needed.

What is the minimum or maximum group size?

We are very flexible with group sizes! Whether you are a small executive committee of 10 people or a massive first-year orientation group of 100+, we can scale the workshop to suit. For very large groups, we bring in additional artists to ensure everyone gets enough hands-on time with the spray cans and expert guidance.

Do you offer discounts for student societies?

We know student budgets can be tight! We offer special rates for university societies and student unions in Limerick. Prices generally range from €30 to €60 per person depending on the total number of participants and the specific materials requested. We don't require upfront payments, and we can provide formal invoices for your society treasurer.
